I would have finished the entire order given the chance, but had to share in the spirit of friendship ;).
There were other mouth-watering dishes so I wasn't all that disappointed -- Bicol express (well, it's not the best but was okay - the best...ones I've tasted are all in Bicol!), pork sisig, crispy pata, bopis, and their other grilled fare (tuna belly, fish, chicken). Add San Miguel beer and you have the best after-work night out with friends.
If you're a picky eater who can only eat salads, Imay's is not for you. This place is for hearty eaters winding down their day with some spirits, live music, and friendly banter.
The place is usually packed on weekends, and since its al fresco dining, it can get really hot and humid.More
