Went to calea with friends as it was located across L Fisher hotel where we stayed. I believe their chocolate cake, their bestseller, deteriorated in taste, since it is no longer moist like it used to be when I first tasted it.

I tried the mud pie ice cream cake, the white chocolate cheesecake, the caramel pecan cheesecake, and the fruity cheesecake!! Everyone of them were amazing!! I absolutely loved the cappuccino with the little sprinkle of cinnamon! Adorable shop!

Cakes, lots of CAKES! From chiffon to ice cream box cake, they have it. May even be boxed up to bring back as a pasalubong. During our trip, we visited the one along the main street and the new branch at the Ayala Mall in Talisay. They also have a branch in Robinsons.

Aside from their chocolate cake and blueberry cheesecake, the pecan cheesecake and the black sambo is worth the try! Definitely worth a visit, over and over again!

Our first visit to Calea (Robinsons branch) was just okay. After lunch, we dropped to Calea to have our dessert. I asked what their bestseller is. I was told it was the Imported Chocolate Cake (moist cake, with yellow filling at the middle, yema-like). I ordered a slice (it was big for P90 price), and I also tried a chocolate... More

Cheesecakes make this a heavenly place. Add to that their lemon meringue, ice cream cakes, coffee, and the ambiance. One for improvement- chiffon cakes (did I spell it right?) Anyway, it's a bit on the dry side. All others are simply wonderful.

Calea is always packed, even till late. Families, friends, locals, visitors to the city, Calea gets them all. Prices are unbelievably cheap if you use Manila as a benchmark. Less than Php100 on the average for a generous slice of cake. Love the imported chocolate cake. Pecan pie ala mode is a best seller and while it is good, the... More
