Our first visit to Calea (Robinsons branch) was just okay. After lunch, we dropped to Calea to have our dessert. I asked what their bestseller is. I was told it was the Imported Chocolate Cake (moist cake, with yellow filling at the middle, yema-like). I ordered a slice (it was big for P90 price), and I also tried a chocolate... More

Cheesecakes make this a heavenly place. Add to that their lemon meringue, ice cream cakes, coffee, and the ambiance. One for improvement- chiffon cakes (did I spell it right?) Anyway, it's a bit on the dry side. All others are simply wonderful.

Calea is always packed, even till late. Families, friends, locals, visitors to the city, Calea gets them all. Prices are unbelievably cheap if you use Manila as a benchmark. Less than Php100 on the average for a generous slice of cake. Love the imported chocolate cake. Pecan pie ala mode is a best seller and while it is good, the... More

Ask anyone who has visited Bacolod and he or she will say that you can't miss Calea's cakes. Open till late, Calea's shop is always full of patrons, a testament to how the cafe is a Bacolod icon.

I visited here as it was opposite my hotel L'fisher. I must warn everyone that visiting is a serious health risk! The cakes are so good it is hard to stop at one. Don't miss it what ever you do:-)

Calea didn't disappoint me one bit! A local friend of mine has reminded me numerous times that it's a must to try Calea's cakes. We tried 3 cakes and all of them taste very very good. I wanted to go back to Bacolod if only for Calea cakes! :)

I didn't know about the price when I ordered, and was blown away when I got the bill, because it is so cheap, for the quality of cakes that you get. We went there twice during our stay, once at the main store, and another time at the branch in Robinsons. 80-90php for a slice of cake, and we had... More

I'm not a sweet-tooth but when I was dragged by my colleagues to have a dessert after eating lunch I have no choice but to dig my fork into the 4 different slices of cake they ordered. What caught my taste bud was the chocolate cheese cake...it is not to sweet but the sweetness comes out whenever I sip on... More
