This is a typical seafood restaurant where you select fresh seafood and other meats and choose the type of cooking style which you prefer. Palapala has one of the cleaner facilities around Bacolod for fresh seafood. There is a closed off AC room for a relaxed dining experience for a nominal charge.

At 18th St, they run out of choices and some don't seem too fresh when it's past 8. Also a bit expensive for something average. The service is ok. If you want something more authentic, check out the Pala-pala area beside the seafood market located 2 streets behind the Provincial. You can have your pick of the freshest seafood there.

The food is great and the price is fair. However, the service is really really bad. We waited for more than an hour for the food to arrive and the list of bad service went on. The water never arrived though we asked 3 different waiters already. There were a lot of mistake in the billing also. The experience was... More

We tried 18th St. Palapala since it is just 2 blocks away from where we stayed and most of us are first timers in Bacolod and we know that places like Palapala are mostly the place to visit. Anyway, we ordered Tinolang Isda (but was served with Sinigang na Isda), pork belly and the Calamares (that was not served because... More

I love seafood restaurants from Adriatic Coast to Boston, Brussel to Hong Kong. Nothing can even come close to freshness, cooking than this place. Great value. Just go hungry and order everything your budget allows. I am still drooling by thinking of the food I ate there. Especially try blackpepper sauce shrimp.

Miss Mitzie made our breakfast visit worth it. The food was really tasty, affordable and offers good value for money. They served us a big bowl of soup for free, and offered to call us a taxi after we left the place and they saw us waiting for one. Thanks for going the extra mile Miss Mitzie!

Well, we've been warned that the food are delicious but to the pocket is bad. True enough we tried to budget our food order, for around 3 kinds of variety 1 kilo of Tanguige head for sinigang P 951.00 , 1 kg of squid sizzling and guisado is 1k plus, ketong fish grilled and totaled to 6k plus wooowah! We ate here for my birthday celebration. The price is so worth it. Everything we ordered is delicious. We had, chili crabs, buttered shrimp, snigang na tuna belly, a lot of rice and beers, The ambiance is also great. The funny thing is, when we got home, my cousin told me that she dreamed about the Crabs. Yes, it is... More

The buttered and grilled prawns are fresh, fish tinola is fine. The kilawin is just ok, have tried somewhere better kilawin. Black squid is nice as well.
