Service and food quality and menu choice make this a top Chinese restaurant. Great atmosphere. Pity about the hoarding outside the restaurant window for the new F&Boutlet

The Tea of Spring, which is in Shangrila Hotel, Mactan, Cebu, serves a select number of Chinese dishes, which are mostly tasty and not the "pedestrian" type. We had, for example, crispy eel flavored with "everlasting memory tea" which was very good, stewed pork ribs Shanghainese style served with Chinese 'cuapao' bread, braised eggplant with minced pork_ a bit spicy... I don't know even hot to start this rating... I really WORRY when I see comments like "good" or I see a certificate of excellency and my experience is totally opposite. I guess it all depends on everybody's standards. I have been to several Chinese restaurants around the world and few of my favorite restaurants in the world are actually... More

This place was so good! We went there quite a few times and loved everything on the menu. The service was wonderful. The only thing i would recommend is to take a jacket as the aircon was quite cold on every visit.

Excellent Peking Duck served over two courses. Recommend the large bottles of Tsingtao to wash it down.

Good quality food and prices are reasonable for a resort. Couple this with their excellent service. Worth a try.

They need to improve the cooking in their menu. I can taste the oil when I ordered the Kung pao Chicken. It was disgusting. They fried the chicken with too much oil. Hot and sour soup did not taste like hot and sour soup more like soy sauce soup.
