Better than the Buffet

The food was great but the servings were small. The service needs a bit of improvement. They forgot 2 of the dishes we ordered. But the price of the ala carte is a better option than the buffet.

I ordered my regular chinese chow of yang chow fried rice, sweet and sour pork, mango sago and this mango mochi dessert. I asked for some of their peanuts and I got a full bowl. They even set up a table for 2 in my room when I got it for room service. Good authentic chinese food! I love chinese... More

When we check into the Mactan Shang resort, my kids will insist on having dinner at Tea of Spring. The wait staff are amazing and they even take off menu requests. Family favorites are pan fried beef tenderloin with black pepper sauce, stir fried egg white with mixed seafood, and braised jasmine rice with assorted seafood. For an extra taste... More

Wonderful, fresh, authentic and reasonably priced Chinese fair, with decent portions to boot. The service is faultless and the ambience is typical of any high end Asian restaurant that I've been to... Well done, we will be back.

If you want authentic Cantonese food in Cebu, this is about as close as you can get. TOS has been an institution for tourists and locals alike for over 15 years. You can not go wrong with this one.

We purchased several promo vouchers and used these to book 7rooms for a two night stay at Shangrila Mactan, Cebu. One of our very nice experiences as a group of 14 people, was the very good food as suggested by the supervisor, Maricel Saberon, at the Tea of Spring Cantonese restaurant. She seated us at the secluded part of the... More

Service and food quality and menu choice make this a top Chinese restaurant. Great atmosphere. Pity about the hoarding outside the restaurant window for the new F&Boutlet

The Tea of Spring, which is in Shangrila Hotel, Mactan, Cebu, serves a select number of Chinese dishes, which are mostly tasty and not the "pedestrian" type. We had, for example, crispy eel flavored with "everlasting memory tea" which was very good, stewed pork ribs Shanghainese style served with Chinese 'cuapao' bread, braised eggplant with minced pork_ a bit spicy...
