Most people would not go here for the hamburger but I loved it. The location of the place is hidden but once you find it EUREKA!. Stunning decor and location on the beach. The beach is not great but we went there to eat so all good.

The Abaca is a small resort, highly exclusive, developed around the restaurant, from chef Jason Hyatt. It can be found in Punta Engaño, 10 mins walking up from the Shangri-la. There's no doorbell, so if you arrive walking, just knock on the gate. If you arrive by car, honk the horn. The place was recommended to us by some friends... More

The restaurant overlooks the sea, but the way down to the water is for resort guests only. Apart from this little quibble, the overall experience at the restaurant was great. The food was excellent. Lovely crisp pizza, generous portion of the seafood risotto with 2 huge prawns, tasty baked fish. As expected, it was a pricey meal, but worth it.... More

Abaca restaurant- the Cebu version of Antonio's. Ok, maybe that's a little too much but If I could give this place 100 stars for service and their prosciutto di Parma flatbread pizza, I would. At least for my experience 😃 I was overwhelmed with their exceptional customer service. Ambiance was really something- not kid friendly but if you're on a... More

People here are very friendly, good service and - delicious food! At this place it is hard to stop eating. It goes definitely beyond what I'm used from good restaurants and I do understand why they are the No 1 in Lapu Lapu.

An oasis in the desert. Abaca is an outstanding restaurant by any standards with it's fantastic location and great food. My wife said her seared tuna was "the best I've ever had". The service is attentive but not invasive and our table down by the pool was ideal.

The food and ambiance was great - the service was personal and attentive. The portions are huge, so be warned. I had the seafood risotto and was spoiled by having a dish piled high with a variety of fresh seafood. Delicious. Even tho the sides tasted amazing, no one had much room to finish the fries and the nightmare broccoli.... More

From the pizzas, pastas to the leg of lamb I cannot find any flaw in any of the items we ordered. Chef is very amiable too. Staff are highly trained and very attentive. I will now rate other restaurants against Abaca's standards.

Came here with our 3 year old for dinner from the Movenpick up the road. From the moment your taxi pulls up you are treated like royalty and taken down to the gorgeous open dining area - very romantic but not too formal. The staff were lovely to our 3 year old, gave her a soecial drink, a beautiful bag... More
