If you want to try local Cebu dishes, this is one resto to go. The lechon is presented nicely, deboned, but tastes too bland for me. It's not what you'd expect a lechon Cebu to taste like. It's still worth to try if you're visiting the island for the first time. Guess its more hype than taste that made Zubuchon... More

Hands down the best Lechon! Wanted to eat there everyday. A good place to order a few plates for the table and eat family style. The staff is friendly and it is fun watching the pig roasting in the kitchen

Zubuchon Restaurant has excellent service and delicious food in a great environment. The restaurant is located in a shopping area around a parking lot so it doesn't look like much, however the restaurant itself is clean, nicely decorated and has a great atmosphere. Admittedly, my knowledge of Philippines cuisine is limited however I really enjoyed the meal and thought it... More

No MSG lechon..as soon as you bite into either the meat or skin of the lechon you know that they have taken great care in cooking it. So it really is a must try…also make sure to have their shake..Duhat shake was awesoe!

I visited the branch within Islands Stay hotel. Upon arrival, the staff told us that the lechon will not be available within the next 30 minutes so he convinced us to order other food in the menu while waiting for the delivery. While it is OKAY to wait, the staff did not tell us that it'll take more than an... More

Don't believe the hype...my experience was that it was like plywood and very dry. Then again it was over priced as well. Never again

We apologize that the lechon you tasted was "dry and tasteless" -- it shouldn't have been. Our lechons are delivered to branches at 11am and roughly 530pm everyday. They should be at their peak for both and lunch and dinner rush. Off hours sometimes result in less than ideal lechon, but if you were unhappy and mentioned this to staff,... More

Cebu is known for the best lechon in the Philippines. I have witnessed in the Cebu Pacific cargo area where the several packages of the lechons are shipped by air to Manila. Zubuchon lechon lacks the moisture and the taste. Im giving it a 2 star rating

I am a Cebuana, we are known for the most delicious Lechon in the Philippines. I support the local lechon since this is the pride of Cebu and Zubuchon is not and never a Cebu lechon.

Thank you for your visit and review of Zubuchon. We respect your opinion. But please allow me to state some facts, and not my opinion, for the broader readership at large. Zubuchon is a completely local brand, created, registered and located in Cebu. We use ONLY locally purchased backyard raised pigs from small suppliers throughout the islands of Cebu and... More

great technical execution of the classic lechon. enhanced only by natural ingredients, it captures the essence of what typically is a good food. however this does not deter innovative ideas to be infused. east meets west sandwich version is easily an unforgettable experience looking forward to be consumed again the earliest visit possible. multiple locations, an array of Filipino food... Thank you for your kind words about the food and experience at Zubuchon! You have nailed our intentions on the head... we wanted to present a classic dish from the island of Cebu, done with only natural ingredients, with natural cooking methods in the best possible light. But we do not shy away from experimentation and innovation. It is customers... More

Zubuchon is always our first stop in Cebu, nothing quite beats coming here early (11am), when you get first dibs at the newly grilled Lechon! Pair this with the adobong kangkong and you've got a winning combo. For soup, I highly recommend the chicken, binakol, very refreshing taste. Wash it all down with their Kamias shake, which perfectly takes the "umay"... More
