At the first bite you'll notice that Zubuchon lechon isn't bursting with salt compared to the typical "cebuano lechon" its quite a different take - its a little more bland tasting as most cebu lechons go way overboard with salt sometimes, I like Zubuchon's flavor because I can control how salty my lechon can be with the condiments something I... I went to two branches while on a 2-day stay in Cebu. My cousin and I had the regular rice, Ginataang Langka, Kinilaw (forgot the kind of fish, but we should not have ordered it because it too was coconut cream based not the vinegar I was expecting), boneless lechon and Kamias shake at the Marina Mall branch while we... This was our first time in the new branch and somehow our Zubuchon craving was not satisfied. The lechon was a bit tasteless and it was not as good as I remember it back when I first tasted it more than a year ago. And the kamias shake. How disappointing. It was so yummy back then, but this time it... More

I was so excited to finally get to eat here after all the hype. Unfortunately, this place is just average. The crispy Pata is ok, skin was a little too hard. The Lechon was not bad, but this is Cebu where the best Lechon can be found, so not bad is just not going to cut it! Better off going... More

Anthony Bourdain knows his stuff but he was taken here. Cold boneless pork makes my stomach turn...I expected the food to be served warm but not sub room temperature! The garlic rice was great, but not a challenge to prepare. The food in the Philippines is excellent but don't expect excellent food here. Was average.

I went there after this restaurant was recommended by a friend. The lechon is nice, yes, but it's a fat dish, and it does not have a lot of taste neither... They say it is the "best pig ever", but it's definitely not true... This is only marketing. I guess you can find better places to eat. This is more... More

Im not a lechon fan... for starters... So I will just describe my experience... I cannot pin point exactly what makes their lechon special. Because Ive tried CNT and Rico's and for me, it is tasty than theirs. Though theirs are well marketed and creatively done... they even have a stall inside the airport. I enjoyed their juices/shakes. Oooh. The... More

Lechon (roasted pig) is one of Cebu's famous food. The lechon here is delicious but I have tried better tasting lechons in Cebu. The staff are friendly but the customer-waiter ratio is not proportional. When we went, the resto was full but the waiters are few. I, however, still recommend that you try the place whenever you will visit Cebu.

i've been to the Escario branch before, so when our Client said we'd have dinner here i had no problem with the selection. our Client chose our dishes: chicharon, spicy lechon & rice. of course, a lot of beer. the taste of the spicy lechon was different, but not unsatisfactory. if you haven't tried it, you should. but my next... Most Cebuanos I know would not recommend this brand of lechon so when i went to the restaurant at Eacario branch just a few walks from Capitol hotel with low expectations but suprisingly i love it and best paired with kamias shake.
