Cafe is already closed without any notice where they've moved. Me and my family walked about 150 meters but we were disappointed to find out that it was closed coz we're looking forward to the good food with very high rating on trip advisor. We got lost actually.

Lovely restaurant. Could be in Europe when inside, a little daunting to visit outside. Appetizer food is very nice, not many mains to choose from. Have busted many times and the food slipped a little on my last visit. Could do with an update to menu.

Given the comparisons on this site to soho cafes i was pretty excited. Interior was cute but basic filipino food and location could not make up for it . It was very ordinary in my opinion and not worth the trip.

Dan and I had the pleasure of dining at Cafe Elysa April 2013 when we visited Cebu. The food was absolutely DELISH and the service was great. Reminds me of SOHO restaurants in New York. The collection of Filipino paintings adorn the walls of this subdued but yet cozy place. Highly recommended!!!

Service, food, atmosphere, all wonderful. Im not a local and loved the traditional food experience.I will go back. The food was to die for, just wonderful, and cooked so well. Could fault nothing.

i have to concur some of the previous reviewers as this place is about as average as it gets. The restaurant was empty and stayed empty for the entire time of our visit and neither that or the location bothered me. What did was the food which was turned out to be dressed up comfort food, dressed up in a... More

I went with a group to Café Elysa last November and have also compared notes with 3 different sets of co-workers and friends who have also tried it within the last year. Some are cebuanos, 1 canadian, and a couple originally from manila. We are all unanimous that it is neither a good restaurant nor a terrible one. It is... More

This restaurant has a nice location near historic sites of Cebu. The price is a bit expensive, equivalent to prices in Greenbelt, Makati. There is no free drinking Water, so customers are obliged to buy bottled water. The food portions are somewhat meager, and should be 30% more at least. Aside from these 2 complaints (no drinking water, and small... More
