A great restaurant for a night out with friends

Social food, draft beer and fairly affordable prices even for budget travellers. We shared a combo plate between 4 people and were really satisfied with our choice. The beef was excellent.

When you crave wagyu beef, this is definitely one place to go. Good marinade, good quality and just above average pricing. Nice ambiance, attentive waiters. If you go on a weekend, best to make a reservation.

Great Japanese food experience in cebu. a bit pricey thou but it is worth it. The marination on the meats is yummy. The salads and vegetables . Come try it.

Once in a while my wife and I would crave for meat. This is where we go to. Service and food is awesome. We always go home satisfied and full.

Well if you want an unlimited beef experience. Tajimaya would probably be the best place to go to, especially in a small city like Cebu. It's not extremely delicious but it's affordable and it'll make you full

Not very accommodating .. just 3 minutes after 3 and refused to allow us to buy off lunch menu .. no miso soup kind of strange for a Japanese restaurant .. and then they added a 10% service charge at the counter .. been to many restaurants here in Cebu never have had that happen .. it was only 2... I eaten here dozens of times. In the past year, it has dramatically declined in quality. The vegetables are okay, but the quality of the beef is way lower than before. Tonight we ate there for the last time. Were not going back.

Best place I have found in Cebu for real high quality beef. I go for the harubi and sometimes the wagyu. I have never been disappointed. I also like the ambience and service. It is polished without being pretentious.

We all think its only good yakiniku. But their Karubi Onmen is on of the best. Its a must try in Tajimaya. Their hidden goodies also include kimchi moriawase and the least expected Japanese version of Caesars salad.

My family always wants to eat Japanese and this is one place you can enjoy the charcoal-grilled Yakiniku at a very reasonable price. Their buffet is a welcome-treat to my boys who can finish up 6-7 serving plates of their varied meat selections. For best buffet value, we usually have triple servings of their beef, pork and sausage, and occasionally... More
