First of all, it's hard NOT to remember the rather longish name. STK stands for the local dialect's term for grilled, sour soup, and pickled, a description of the type of food one can order in the restaurant. The ambience of this seafood house is unique. It's actually an old house with 1930s-1960s memorabilias and antiques. Their POS is even this old cash register. Their phones are the old ones with dials. Then the food. They serve authentic grilled Filipino dishes like the jaws of the tuna fish ("panga" in the local dialect) and innovative creations like curried crabs. Finally, the bill...US$7/head and you head out with a doggy bag! Good ambience, excellent food, and great value for money.

Panga!!!

This is my 3rd time eating at this resto. Really served good food, you should try the "panga" or tuna. Scallops is also to die for. It also comes reasonably priced and in reasonable serving size. Service could use a bit of an upgrade or further staff training may be needed but i would still... read more

May 21, 2015 Our last trip to Cebu was in Dec. 2014 we come here every trip first thing. The food is always the best and this time is the same. I recommend you call in for reservations as it is always packed. A must place to visit.

On our first night in Cebu last April 2015, we were treated by our host-friends to a sumptous meal at STK. Although my first impression of the restaurant was not that good because it looked so ordinary outside, but everything changed after i tasted their panga and the rest of the food served to us! Wow, so delicious! So yummy... More

The food was absolutely delicious here. We went because I stumbled across a review about it on Lonely Planet and we ordered their recommendations which was the Hot and Spicy Calamares and Chilie Crab. The crab was amazing, but I wasn't too fond of the calamares. We also ordered the garlic fried rice and the baked scallops. They were both... More

When we entered this restaurant, the woman who seem to be like the owner or the manager came to us to recommend the menu. And she did a really good job. We ordered like 6 dishes. The first 4 came in. Then we have to wait like almost 30 minutes for the last 2 which is just Sinigang and Crab... More

It was my boyfriend's birthday that day so I asked one waiter to help me organise a surprise happy birthday cake for him. They have cake slices so I ordered one and they were kind enough to provide me a candle then sang happy birthday to my boyfriend who was surprised. The food was delicious and fresh. The portions were... More

If you eat nowhere else in Cebu city, make an effort to go here and experience a highly unique dining delight. You are actually dining in what used to be a huge mansion and we were lead to our table through corridors and rooms. All around are second world war artefacts and an insight into the lives of the former... More

A short cab ride from the hotel, we enjoyed dinner here one night. It would be more fun to come with a big party, but it was just my husband and myself...and we ordered a lot of food, maybe too much! We loved the Crab Relleno in Black Pepper Sauce and the Hot/Spicy Calamares, but the Baked Scallops I read... More

Their food is not that special. We ordered sinigang na hipon, tuna panga, sisig, and another dish...The sisig was a bit soggy. What I love about the place are their antique decors. You can find them in all corners of the restaurant. From religious icons to bottles, lamps, chairs, and a lot more...
