STK ta bai! at Paolito's Seafood House

26 Orchid Street | Capitol Site, Cebu City, Philippines
Improve this listing
Ranked #37 of 359 Restaurants in Cebu City
Cuisines: Filipino
Dining options: Breakfast/Brunch, Reservations, Late Night
Description: First of all, it's hard NOT to remember the rather longish name. STK stands for the local dialect's term for grilled, sour soup, and pickled, a description of the type of food one can order in the restaurant. The ambience of this seafood house is unique. It's actually an old house with 1930s-1960s memorabilias and antiques. Their POS is even this old cash register. Their phones are the old ones with dials. Then the food. They serve authentic grilled Filipino dishes like the jaws of the tuna fish ("panga" in the local dialect) and innovative creations like curried crabs. Finally, the bill...US$7/head and you head out with a doggy bag! Good ambience, excellent food, and great value for money.

If you want to taste genuine and delicious Filipino food, then this is the place to go. The Baked Scallops and the Crispy Pork are my favorites !

It's my first time to visit this restaurant with my co-worker, you can see all the collectibles displayed items from the past that they preserved it. And the food with reasonable price, i love Panga Tuna and their Tinolang Bisaya.

Order the Tuna Jaw without hesitation. It was soo tasty and succulent. Sadly I cant say that for the rest of the food. If the only thing I had was the tuna jaw, it would have been perfect. The rubber squid and squid cooked in butter sauce (which was more like honey sauce) was awful. The crab in curry sauce... More

My friends and I decided to have dinner last night at STK ta Bay! It's not the first time we dined here. We love their food and we get a great value for money. Two of my friends were already there because my other friend and I were still buying some groceries. Probably it took us almost 30 minutes in... More

Dined with friends twice within a week. I enjoyed halaan soup and spicy shrimp with garlic and butter and the pink bagoong rice. The restaurant has a rustic feel. Food is delicious but should think of serving more refreshing fruit based local drinks

The food is good - you can tell that they used fresh ingredients. The only dish I really liked was the grilled tuna, everything else was either too sweet, too buttery or too hot for me. Loved the decor especially on the 2nd floor function rooms :) The servers were very helpful. They close at 3pm.

We took a cab from SM Cebu after buying some pasalubong. I asked the cabbie to bring us to STK ta Bay! and showed him the street address that Google gave me, which apparently was a wrong move. Google gave the address #6 A. Climaco St. Cebu City but was surprised to find out that that street was a short... More

I always make it to a point to eat here whenever I am in Cebu. Reason is the ingredients they use are fresh. They have improved their selection and still tastes great! The best place for me for seafood. do try to have reservations for big groups and don't expect to be seated as soon as possible during peak hours... More
