First of all, it's hard NOT to remember the rather longish name. STK stands for the local dialect's term for grilled, sour soup, and pickled, a description of the type of food one can order in the restaurant. The ambience of this seafood house is unique. It's actually an old house with 1930s-1960s memorabilias and antiques. Their POS is even this old cash register. Their phones are the old ones with dials. Then the food. They serve authentic grilled Filipino dishes like the jaws of the tuna fish ("panga" in the local dialect) and innovative creations like curried crabs. Finally, the bill...US$7/head and you head out with a doggy bag! Good ambience, excellent food, and great value for money.

You should know what to order

Interior looks good, food is a hit and miss but most of them are good. To be sure, ask for their best sellers. Food is cheap. Service is needs improvement, we followed up our order a lot of times.

This is my second review in a year. This restaurant is a very popular place among the tourists and locals. I am not going to review the food since it is very good. Staff is very good. However ownership is in a delusion that tourist will be OK to leave the place without washing the hands or using the toilet.... More

Unassuming place just near capitol central. Perfect for big groups and for families. You must try their grilled panga and scallops. Good food, great place and worth every single penny.

Eating here is like being treated in some antique houses. The interior design is a fusion of antiquity and modernity. Cozy! Food is good except for some like their Bicol Express. Capable to hold large groups. Park area is difficult to find.

Love the shrimps in garlic sauce. My fiancee and I had 2 platters! When you're in cebu try their branch along Orchid street. Good food, fast service!

I like the façade but the food is not that special. It is also quite pricey for a budget traveller like me.

I make sure when in Cebu to eat barbecue and seafood and at STK you get seafood. On our order, my least favorite was the Halaan (clam) soup since it was not prepared the way we do it at home. I also found the scallops (baked) not plump. It tasted buttery and sweet. Loved the kinilaw. STK is at an... More

My favorite dining places in the heart of cebu city. This is homestead turned resto and museum. Go and explore the antiques and cebu's history while waiting for your meal to be served.

Just one of the awesome dine-in places in Cebu. My favorite on their menu are: Tuna Panga Sinugba, Thai soup, crispy pata, and sinuglaw. Their smoothies are also great quenchers.. The owner herself explain the menu and took our orders.

Went there with three couples and got seated it a small room in the back, which was decorated with a lot of military items - really interesting and very nice decoration that blended in perfectly with everything else. And: The food was excellent. The local chicken, the tuna, ... Everything was really good, no exceptions. All of us were happy... More
