Improve this listing
Ranked #41 of 354 restaurants in Cebu City
Cuisines: Filipino
Dining options: Breakfast/Brunch, Reservations, Late Night
Description: First of all, it's hard NOT to remember the rather longish name. STK stands for the local dialect's term for grilled, sour soup, and pickled, a description of the type of food one can order in the restaurant. The ambience of this seafood house is unique. It's actually an old house with 1930s-1960s memorabilias and antiques. Their POS is even this old cash register. Their phones are the old ones with dials. Then the food. They serve authentic grilled Filipino dishes like the jaws of the tuna fish ("panga" in the local dialect) and innovative creations like curried crabs. Finally, the bill...US$7/head and you head out with a doggy bag! Good ambience, excellent food, and great value for money.

July 18, 2014 The service right from the start was the best our waiter James was Johnny on the spot all night long with all the tables he was in charge of,I will request his area of responsibility every time I go there which will be often. The food was top of the line, we had baked tahong, baked scallops,... More

I always make it to a point to eat here whenever I am in Cebu. Reason is the ingredients they use are fresh. They have improved their selection and still tastes great! The best place for me for seafood. do try to have reservations for big groups and don't expect to be seated as soon as possible during peak hours... More

This was actually the third time we have been to this seafood place and I really did enjoy the food. It was quickly becoming a favorite local place for my discerning belly which is still adjusting to my new life here. The atmosphere is a huge draw given the converted family home and countless antiques. They even have a room... More

The place is situated just right across Bucket shrimps. I love the ambience with lots of memorabilias from kitchenwares to world war weapons. Makes you feel you went back through time. Food is great and price is average.

This place has at least 3 adjoining restos, across the one we entered. We were there during lunch. We ordered grilled tuna panga in large size, halaan soup, shrimp plangganita, crab relleno, and sinuglaw. I was disappointed with the halaan soup. The taste was great but there were only 4pcs of shell in it. So since we were 4, we... More

The food was great while the ambiance of memorabilia and antiques was good, although the service was not good since our meal bit delayed.

The place has expanded, occupying the place across the original "old" stk ta bay. They also have a private parking lot at the back. However, i insisted for a table in the original wing, where all the antiques were located. Having guests, the antiques help become part of our conversation, help cover up the infamous poor service. They still have... More

It took them an hour to serve our orders and they got it wrong twice. Nonetheless, the food was very good and the price was very reasonable.

We had our team bonding here. The food is great. The place has a bar setting. The only problem is I'm not used to such kind of atmosphere. Their crew offers great service.
