I love max. The best thing on the menu is the pansit kanton. . I was here maybe 7-8 times my last vacation in cebu. And I'm coming back next month again. The prices are good. Service is over middle good.

Max Restaurant in Ayala Center is located in the lower level, across Insular Life Bldg. Near Max are: StarBucks, La Tegola, Gelato Ice Cream, and the fountain. Convenient because it is also near the taxi bay area. I still love their fried chicken, lumpiang hubad, kare-kare ... Prices are very reasonable, you feel happy and satisfied. At the time the... i went on a nostalgic food trip to restaurants i grew up with and haven't been to since living outside of the country ... i had nice memories of max's ... this visit ruined it ... the chicken portions were small ... it was very dry - like eating cardboard ... the waiting staff were friendly and attentive though ...... We had a light lunch here which included Camote Chips, BBQ Chicken and Fried Lumpiang Ubod. The best dish was the Fried Lumpiang Ubod which is something Ive never tried before and was quite tastey. Dont think I would return to this place in a hurry.

Max has their fried chicken as their signature dish. Its nothing special, its taste is not any better than similar chicken from savory, or even chicken from chooks or manok ni sr pedro. The size looks smaller than the competitors, it must because of high costs in a mall setting. This so obvious with their advertised seafood pasta. Their menu... More

On a recent overnight trip to Cebu, I stopped for a late dinner at this large chain. Since travelling to the Philippines, I found I enjoy their crispy pata and kare-kare and Max's is very consistent, I found their staff to be polite and helpful as I asked for directions and opinions while they were closing up as I was... Max's Restaurants is a major restaurant chain in the Philippines, its signature food chicken. The chicken at some locations of this chain is excellent, but at some other locations, I have found from experience, it is mediocre. However, chicken at this Ayala Center location is excellent, and so I recommend this location for those who would like to order chicken.... More

This fast food outlet offers signature chicken platters. Salads, soups and deserts are available for affordable prices. My fiance had a chop suey, cream mushroom soup and I had mixed canton noodles and two iced teas. Bill was less than 500 pesos.
