My date and I had a great experience. Wonderful salad. Best we've had in Cebu. Great lettuce, tomatoes, onions and dressing. Fresh and tasty. Pasta was wonderful. My tenderloin filet was thin sliced with pepper sauce. I am used to a thicker cut, but it was tender and good. Location on Google Maps was wrong, so we wasted 10-15 minutes... More

Hard to find if you dont know your way, but absolutely worth it. Excellent food, good and attentive service and a very nice and relaxed atmosphere. I will definitely go back.

The appetizer I am talking about is their hot focaccia with mushroom, eggplant, tomato in olive oil; it is very good and filling. The place is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood, good parking, nice service. The place needs a little brightening up, but their private garden room for big groups is quite nice. Pizza and pasta are good, but... More

A little bit hard to find, as it is nested in a quiet and off the beaten track, but it's worth it. The genuine and authentic food (pizza Margherita and the antipasto plate were yummm!!!) combined with a cosy environment make this place a good choice if you want to relax in front of good food, a nice wine or... To say the experience was amazing is an understatement. I cannot decide what keeps me coming back, if it's the focaccia, the pizza or the pasta (the the main course is absolutely lovely as well.) So maybe you can't call it the fancy pants of restaurants. But it's nice and cozy and quiet and really authentic as you can get,... More

No real heart but into the food at all and the ambiance was weird. I was actually quite surprised at by my visit as my expectations were much higher. The prices also were at the top end for cebu and nothing i ate or saw indicated any reason for this. My spaghetti arrabbiata was not particularly hot and they gave... More

I have been a fan of La Buona for as long as i can remember. I love the appetizer of hot crisp foccacia with vegetables in olive oil... way back when it is served free, now that its P200 or $5. A serving... it is still the reason i go all the way there.Pizza is also great.

When I was in La Buona Forchetta Da Paolo it had all the right components to make a very special night. Girlfriend, check. Famed-restaurant-that-I-have-never-been-to-that-I-have-heard-good-reviews-of, check. And boy was it a special night thanks to the owner (Paolo) who did a superb job of coming across being accommodating & friendly without invading too much of your privacy. Each member of his... More
