The sophisticated yet casual allure of Maya seamlessly blends old world charm with modern elegance. Succulent aromas from the kitchen mix tradition and ingenuity while setting the stage for your dining pleasure. Maya also has the largest selection of 100% pure agave tequilas in the country, which in addition to our premium house pours are sure to charm.Maya is committed to the timeless tradition of Mexican food – utilizing countless ingredients and dishes, and perhaps most importantly, the rich family tradition of preparation, which is done by hand using the freshest local ingredients that are regionally available. By embracing both Mexican tradition and local sensibility, we offer a creatively classic cuisine that unites well-known Mexican street food from the stalls of Mexico City and family dishes from the coast of the Mayan Riviera and the inventiveness of the Hispanic American communities of California and the American Southwest.

We have visited this restaurant many, many times over the past few years and have always enjoyed very tasty and well prepared food with informed caring service. Standout dishes are Pesci Vera Cruz, Empanadas and the Pork Carnitas. The tequila selection would be second to none in Asia and there is a short but good wine list. As for cost you... More

Generally I love Mexican fare and though I would try Maya since all the other Abaca affiliated restos are wonderful. Truly I was disappointed with the food. It was not horrible, I felt the marinated pork taco's (fri & sat only) was quite nice, the salad was decent, fish taco was so so..fairly bland actually. They server mentioned that they... More

Tired of restaurants here wanting it both ways meaning they want to lure in westerners with the idea of getting a taste of something back home but are afraid to go all into give a more authentic flavor fearing that locals (and maybe other Asians) will not like REAL Mexican tastes. Mexican food thrives on several spices those being CILANTRO... More

I am a 100% mexican born and raised in Mexico. I went to eat at this restaurant and I was so shocked with the prices (talking in Filipino prices for food). The place is very cozy, I really liked the decorations and the originality, because they took a very important part of México "las calaveritas". We ordered tacos al pastor... More

This is a beautifully designed restaurant/ bar and a must visit for the atmosphere. The food is good but service suffers the usual Filipino problems like entree and main arriving at the same time and dishes being forgotten altogether. I was there on a quiet night and the waiter completely forgot my dessert. A little pricey but worth it for... More

I have eaten here 3 times. This is a trendy type of place with a limited menu but the choices are pretty good. The enchiladas were forgettable. Enchilada sauce is not that hard to make, so I was surprised at this. The shrimp fajitas were very good. The queso and chips was also of a good quality. The burrito (fried)... More

Expensive crap mexicanish food With flights from Coron to Manila to Cebu being canceled and delayed causing nearly more perturbations than Air France on strike, it took us nearly a day to arrive in Cebu. After a very warm welcome at the hotel and an invigorating warm shower, we decided for a Mexican dinner at Maya. Oh disappointment! The Piña... More

Maya is one of our favorite go-to places for good cocktails in Cebu. My personal favorite is their mojitos and piña colada. Their take on mexican food is good! Items are on the mid-to-pricey but you really get what you pay for - good food. good ambience and awesome drinks!
