their cakes are deliciously baked. loaded with flavors and just wowed me. the place is just newly renovated with a modern design. place is frequented by locals and tourists.
You'll kill yourself waiting to have a seat here since the place is usually jam-packed. It's a good to place to have yourself some simple American home-cooked meals and desserts but I hope the place could be much bigger or better.
The unforgettable pork ribs was tender, tasty and just like the way I make ribs at home. Unfortunately, the rice was similar to microwaved day old rice(which I do at home too). The durian sans rival was very good as long as it came out of the box(which i brought home). I also ordered an already sliced durian sans rival... More
I will never forget their "unforgettable" dish.. Yes, it is named unforgettable and it really lived to it's name.. It's a meat dish, like adobo, where the meat is really tender it falls off the bones and literally melts in your mouth. They are also famous for their sansrival whichnis also excellent.. In fact all their dishes I like.. :-)... More
What I love most about Lachi's (and probably why a lot of people love it too) is that you can both have a full meal and dessert. The meals are great, the pasta dishes are awesome and the desserts are too die for. Unlike other restaurants where you'll have to go to another place for say, desserts, you have everything... More
This restaurant is located at the building where my school used to be located. So I have plenty of memories about the place. The food - especially the Sans Rival is to die for. I worry about my blood pressure - because it is so rich and so totally delicious. The place has very limited seating capacity so make sure... More
This quaint little eatery was reminiscent of a US roadside diner. We ate dinner there after trying twice for lunch with no avail. The food is standard fare local food with a fantastic selection of desserts. I had the melt-in-your-mouth pork sandwich and enjoyed it. If your a westerner with an appetite like me, your gonna need to order 3... More
My cousins and I had dessert in this cozy little pastry shop. It has a bright ambiance; wide selection of desserts. Sans rival was good while my cousin liked the key lime pie. Revel bar could have been less sweet and more chocolate-to-crust ratio. Will return to try other desserts.
I only have five words to say. Best. Baby back ribs. Ever. You can't say you've been to Davao if you haven't eaten a bite at Lachi's. It's affordable, delicious and has a welcoming aura. The downside though, is the location. It's a bit well hidden in the corners of Davao. Everybody here knows it, and would try to find... More
