If it's Filipino food that you want, then Nanay Bebeng's Restaurant may be the place in Davao for you to visit. It is a Pinoy food feast! You may go for "kinilaw" as appetizer - the tuna was fresh, the vegetables were crisp, and the vinaigrette was perfect! You may have the usual green vegetable salad with thousand island dressing... The restaurant does not know the meaning of "scrimping". Never mind that they now mince the pomelo chunks and chicharon bulaklak, a favorite of diners. At least the supply keeps on coming. And the grilled tuna and kare kare are always abundant. The best part? Melon drinks, when in season.

That's what I think of this restaurant. My first time to visit Davao City so my first time to eat here. Well, I don't have a comparison to say it's the best but to me it is because the food is so delicious! They serve true native Filipino dishes. They have good selection of meat (pork, chicken and beef), seafood,... More

Last time I came here was in 2007 and it hasn't changed! It's a buffet style restaurant and probably the best i've seen in the philippines! The fruits and veggies were fresh and delectable! Staff was really quick in re-filling the food, so if it runs out- don't worry, they'll fill it right up for you! Definitely a go-to place;... More

One always gets tired and hungry when travelling, and a good place to eat is always a welcome attraction. So don't ever miss Nanay Bebeng's whenever you're in Davao City because it's got the best buffet in town. Their selections have an equal distribution of meat, seafood, and vegetables so you're "tricked" into healthy eating even while gorging yourself. The... More

Most of the buffet items tasted generic. Staff was fast in replenishing empty trays. Fruit offerings were good.

Very busy place to be for a late lunch. The variety of food fare offered would land you something you may eventually want. Enjoy!

I was in town for business and took some colleagues here for dinner to expose them to some native Filipino cuisine. Its buffet style so everyone could sample a few items without committing to a full meal of one dish. The food was good, they were very busy and some of the buffet options were picked pretty clean before they... More

As the name suggests, it is a restaurant that serves native Filipino dishes. The location is not along the very busy and noisy streets of the city. The place is nice, clean and the staffs are courteous. Everything in the buffet is exceptionally good. I like their beef "Kare-kare" and the rest of their dishes. I also like their crispy... More
