The price is reasonable for the good food and ambiance it offers. It has GREAT service.

First thing that came up to my mind, is its romantic ambiance. I wouldn't say the food is spot-on perfect, it's just pretty GOOD. But if you wanted to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing meal then this is a place to go.

I have frequented this restaurant a number of times previously and was always impressed. Unfortunately last night the restaurant was full and service was abysmal. Claude was reprimanding the stressed staff left right and centre adding to the confusion and stress. I felt sorry for the staff who were unable to handle the pressure of having a full restaurant. It... More

Claude's Café de Ville is a magnificent restaurant housed in an old mansion right in the busy city centre. It's a beautiful and tasteful oasis in a dusty, chaotic area of town. And the beauty of it all, the quality of the food actually matches the surroundings. It's such a pleasant surprise to find authentic, classy French food in this little... More

I regret not having been to Claude's the years I have been visiting Davao. I went early this month and was impressed not only by the ambience, the service, of Claude himself and of course, the food. I am SO glad they are NOT the pretentious (French) restaurant which other restaurants in Davao actually are. More importantly, I am proud... More

Exhausted from shopping and haggling at Aldevinco center where I bought some T-shirts and some sweetwater pearls, I walked a few blocks along busy Jeepney traffic and small street sellers. In Rizal Street, opposite the Manila Bulletin office, there is a small garden with an old colonial style building: Claude's. Had coffee and cheesecake. Nothing big. But it left an... More

With their great food, romantic ambiance, hospitable and helpful service staff, Claude's is an ideal place for a romantic dinner date. A group of singers with string instruments hop from table to table to serenade their guests. They are very familiar with Elvis and Beatles songs so feel free to ask them to sing your favorite Elvis or Beatles song.

I had my first meal a couple of years ago and just recently had my dinner there. The restaurants is very unique and I like the old design. It is a quite and relaxing place to have dinner. The restaurant has a four star appeal due to the well designed interior and elegant setting in a 1929 Colonial inspired home. Unfortunately, the offerings of culinary magnificence were absent for me and my guest. Two meals of pain in consumption of the bland interpretation of simple easy dishes. Carbonara Shrimp Pasta was a disaster. In actuality it was not... More

We love everything about this restaurant! The food was great. They have lots of choices that can blow your mind. Ambiance was relaxing. The old house was spacious and airy. Although its in the corner of busy streets but you can hardly hear the noise. Service was spectacular. The waitresses were quick and well trained. Claude the owner was around... More
