Mediterranean Cuisine. Claude’s serves the best steaks in town. Their steaks are perfectly cooked to the diner’s specifications with a choice of pepper or mushroom sauce. It can also be served with either mashed potatoes, or the more popular choice, rice. Other crowd-drawers are their appetizers, salads and soups. Some appetizers which deserve to be mentioned are their salmon pate and shrimp cocktail. The pate is served with lightly toasted sliced French bread while the cocktail is full of fresh shrimp smothered with light dressing and a helping of tomatoes and avocados. Their ceasar’s salad is also easily one of the best I’ve tasted in the city.

I had fresh oysters (from Canada!) and lapu lapu fish one evening and french onion soup and steak tartar another evening. The food is really marvellous. Everything is of high quality and fresh. The service is top notch.

A quiet and cozy place to host dinner or lunch for foreign clients. They have decent selection of good wines and awesome menu. A must in Davao!

Claude's is not for everyone. It's for people who appreciate good food, not fast food. For people who appreciate the diversity of flavours, not the usual drive- thrus and take-outs. Sure, it's not cheap, but the whole experience - old world charm, historic building, European cuisine (those steaks!), romantic vibe - is something you reserve for those special, sometimes unplanned,... A cozy restaurant, a relaxing ambience after a day's work; The owner ensures everyone's enjoying by going around. Prices are not the the city's lowest but definitely a good choice to be. Try the curry dishes as well as the salmon dish...

We enjoyed this place and it's food but thought it overpriced. It is located in a pleasant heritage building, updated with air conditioning in a compatible way. The owner welcomes you and takes the order. We went with a number of expensive options and thought that the quantity for a couple of dishes was limited. However, the quality was generally... More

I love the food and ambiance in the restaurant. It brought new life to an ancestral house. I also appreciated the service provided, especially the effort of the owner to oversee everything.

Nice place and resturant was ruined by some very strange behavior by the owner. We had agreed a group rate of 1200 peso, we had enjoyed the food and the ambience but the owner decided to upscale the wine to $80 dollar plus variety without consulting us and the bill he presented was over 2200 peso per person. Obviously the... More
