the nearest escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. it's only a 10-minute boat ride from Waterfront harbor. it's a bit expensive though - entrance, cottage / table, and food. don't bother bringing food and drinks because you have to pay for the corkage. but it's a full-service resort so you can basically get everything you need... Really good value for money, great rooms with decent beds, fantastic balcony with day-bed and dining table where you can have dinner served to your room. Small beach, but kept really clean. Good quality bed linen. Lots of towels provided. Really good, reasonably priced food. Shaded, sea water swimming pool which is oh so pleasant. All in all a very... More

We drove to Chema's from Davao City, hoping to have a late lunch. We got there at 3:30 pm and were interviewed at their gate. It took us about 30 minutes to talk our way inside, when we were informed of all the fees and that day tours would end at 5pm. The resort was indeed beautiful.. they informed us... More

This place is absolutely charming. Each villa is well-planned. I love the day bed right outside our room. The pool is nice and their white sand beach is just fine. This is a place I would love to visit again.

Loved this place..so serene, peaceful and relaxing. We stayed there just for the entire day day, but I can say its worth it. they provide a back and forth boat ride for just Php 200 and they serve and cook good food. prices were reasonable and the staff were friendly and polite. Though the place is perfect for honeymooners I... More

If you are stressed, and you want a quick escape from the city..this is the place for you. Though budget wise it is not cheap. Fare costs around P200 and you are required to pay P500 for the day cottage. Food is average and quite expensive. What you're paying for is the tranquility that the sea and surrounding provides. It... More

We went to Chemas in July 2008. We just sent the owner a text message and everything was booked for us. He msg-ed us the pricelist of his cottages before we went there as well. When we arrived, we got a very special treatment. Luckily, no other people were booked there during our stay and therefore we had the resort... More

The cabanas are surrounded by beautiful landscaping. The collection of plants, flowers, and trees is very good. If you want peace and quiet and totally relaxing place, Chema's is for you. Has beach with beige colored fine sand and infinity pool filled with sea water. We enjoyed both! The owner is kind and gracious. He spent time with us and... More
