A not that glamorous version of an American diner

Located right adjacent (or rather intruding into) a car wash, the place is not as difficult to find as some reviews would suggest- it is on the main road, with suitable signage good for both day and night visibility. As a matter of fact, the car wash is quite handy as there are not that many in... read more

I have nothing to say about the taste of their wagyu burger. But the price is too expensive (around 250-350php). The ambience/interior is not even close to diner's. The place looks dirty. If you're fond of bathing your car, you might enjoy watching cars being washed while you're eating your burger. And one more thing, there is no parking space.... More

if you are one of the more adventurous foodies, then you can try this out. this is one late review since we had tried this a year ago. they have good burger patties, different takes on the classic burgers, and really, a variety to choose from. big servings of the fries and other add ons. the only setback is the... Charlie's is an eyesore place - a hole in the wall, no parking to speak of, and it's sharing space with a car wash AND we would still go there for their excellent burgers. BUT NOT ANYMORE. One thing I hate about most dining joints is when they start reducing serving size. Come on Charlie's, you have already raised your... More

They've been popular for their freshly ground burgers, which I would occasionally go for one. Not sure about how the process makes a difference, but their burgers are juicy. I would have to say though that the quality has deteriorated a bit from when they first started years ago. I also like their Philly Cheesesteak and Truffle Fries :-) The... More

Whenever we get burger cravings, Charlie's is the first thing that comes to mind! Unfortunately, we don't always get to satisfy such cravings because of their location. But when we get to....oh happy day! We would always order the Bacon Wagyu Cheeseburger and the Double Black Angus Cheeseburger and these two babies would never fail to satisfy our cravings and... I've been going to Charlie's for quite a number of years now and it's a ritual for me and my son to pass by whenever I get him from school... So far the their food's been quite consistent... I actually prefer this original site than the one along Ortigas Avenue. I find the Ortigas branch a bit more "up your... More

Their wagyu burgers were really juicy relative to the angus and other variants. Initially, our favorites were the SMB wagyu, the wagyu gorgonzola cheeseburger, and the chili fries. Quality unfortunately was inconsistent. The gorgonzola on somes days would just be a shadow of a taste ( & to think that it's not cheap!). The clincher though (that made us stop... More

Will definitely go back here for the fries and the Mahi-Mahi Sandwich. Been here like 3-4 times but I never get tired of the food. For a regular person, one Angus burger can be equivalent to 2 meals. I only ate the smaller half of it and afterwards felt really full. I can't stop eating the fresh fries. It's too... More
