The fondue and lamb shoulder chops were really good. They have a good selection of wines. It was nice of them to take special requests - my beau requested for a tower of macarons (as I am a sucker for macarons)! We had a really nice night, the service was great - and we shall come back.

Went there for breakfast, the service along with the environment are just excellent and the food was really good, a good surprise for the area in which is located.

Cafe 1771 is a french-inspired restaurant at El Pueblo in Ortigas. It offers gourmet food. The price is a bit steep but it's all worth it. The dishes are delicious and freshly made. The service attendants are warm and knowledgeable of the dishes served. The ambiance of the restaurant transports you to a lovely country villa in the suburbs. Try... More

I had a lunch meeting in this restaurant recently. I liked that the restaurant have separate sections for groupies or informal gathering (called whimsy) and a lounge area that's more appropriate for working lunches or dinner. The lounge had a feel of an old library, the surroundings were quiet and relaxing. I had sauteed sea bream and dalandan juice. The... More

The food wasn't worth it. The pizza was small and had very few toppings on it. Nothing special with the drinks. Interior was nice but they didn't allow us to take pictures for personal use just because we were using a dslr, which was weird because we found pictures of other people floating around the net. The manager kept her... More

Based on the management feedback received for my last review I gave it the benefit of the doubt and went there again. What a difference! Service was perfect, food was of good quality and steaks were cooked to perfection. No doubt I got a special treatment but that can not take away from the fact that what was served was... More

This was not my first visit to Cafe 1771 and I was looking forward to the exquisit wine list (there is a wine bar upstairs) and some outstanding food. Well..... where do I start.....
