My husband and I were at this restaurant on December 3d and a roach came out of the salad they brought and started crawling all over the table (we took pictures and even video of the disgusting monster). It crawled over all the dishes, chopsticks, soy sauce pot.... The restaurant staff did not look surpsised nor did they apologize. Needless... More

This is one of the best soft shell crab sushi that I have tasted. Not too soggy and not too tough. I ordered gindara teriyaki with white rice and my favorite uni sashimi which are a few of my favorite dishes.

We had dinner with four colleagues here tonight and the menu was so extensive that it could have been in Japan! Perhaps the only thing that could have been improved with the menu is to have had photos for those of us who couldn't recognise the dishes from the descriptions! With five of us, we had a wide range of... More

This is not the first time we frequented this outlet not because of our liking but due invitations of family and friends. The food served here ranges from good to mediocre but prices are considerable expensive for such fare, so in our book, it has a poor value for money rating. We are particular to service and in so many... More

After coming from an emergency room visit, my daughters wanted to eat Japanese food. So, we took them to Senju , the Japanese restaurant, the nearest place that serves fresh vegetables, fish , meats and oysters. However , It was past 1350H , and they usually close at 1430 H and we weren't sure if they would take us in. I... More

This is not an inexpensive restaurant, just as you would expect in a Shangri-La Hotel. The ambiance is nice and we had a private room. Service was good and they have a call bell on the table and they responded promptly. Just to give you a pricing idea (Php): Kaiso Salad(696), Nama Yasai (258), Dobin Mushi (500), Sashi Hamachi (780),... More

I was expecting more out of my food experience at Senju considering how pricey it is to eat there. I wasn't happy at all. Just an ordinary Japanese restaurant. Nothing extraordinary. The P7k spent was not worth it. Won't go back.

My boss staying at Edsa Shangri-la hotel last February made reservations at Senju for our team of 6. We were there by 6pm (opening time), and we were led to the first teppanyaki station/table. We were having a good time by taking pictures of each other for a while, but then my boss was asking, "There's the food to be... More

One would think that a restaurant located in a basically 4-5 star hotel, and pricing items as if it were a 5 star restaurant would have impeccable service and food. Sadly the Senju had neither. Service was very slow - we waited for quite a while before a waiter took our orders. Our drink orders came at about the same... More
