Good breakfast as always

Good service and lots of options as usual during breakfast at the Heat. However during our convention they used the 2nd floor as extension of the restaurant. Here the service was very poor, they were understaffed and the food was not refilled immediately, aside from few choices. Even the congee was... read more

well, i understand that breakfast buffets can get really chaotic in big hotels like this. I'm wondering if they can improve the flow of people getting food. Waiters are flustered and stressed. We asked for water, my husband even went up to the juice bar to ask for water but was told to ask the waiter. We asked the waiter,... More

Heat serves a variety of dishes from Chinese dimsum to Japanese sushi, Indian warm dishes, Filipino dishes and more. Nicely presented food. However, the price is high for the quality of food. Nothing special with the tastes of food, nothing new taste. Not worth the price.

Went with a group of 7 for the buffet dinner and it was incredible! For around $60 Australian dollars (2,200 pesos) you will want for nothing. Beautiful fresh sashimi, laksa bar (made to order) so many different cheese options and accompaniments, western and pasta section (I bypassed this but colleagues said it was delicious) dumplings, seafood, Indian, dessert buffet with... This is a gorgeous hotel. The rooms are luxurious and very well appointed. The check in was quick and easy with me being collected straight from my car and taken to my room. The room had a lovely comfy bed. Plenty of lights. Loads of power points including by the bed. The room service is good. I like the club... More

One of the reasons we love staying at EDSA Shangri-la is because of the fantastic buffet spread at Heat :)

one of the breakfast buffet I had when I stayed for an overnight at Edsa ShangriLa. There are wide range of food to select from appetizers to desserts. I love their fruit shakes. i definitely recommend this restaurant than circles makati.

I ate here a few times and I'm not impressed with the taste of the food given the price. I eat here only for business meetings. Not much choices like Circles.

I enjoy very much eating at the Shangri-la EDSA. Primarily at Senjou and Summer Palace. However, i started eating at HEAT and found the ala carte very good. While the buffet is sumptuous, we decided to order ala carte. I was very excited to have the family try the filipino cuisine instead of the international buffet. It was a bad... More
