I told the Maitre'd that I was in a hurry, and just wanted the special without knowing what it was...I found out that it was some kind of white fish...it was great! And the food came out in less than 8 minutes! I would come here again, but next time, I would probably look at the menu and take my... More

I loved their cheese fondue! The plates are usually for one but a person with small appetite may want someone to share it with. Pricey indeed but the taste more than makes up for it.

In my opinion 1771 is the best restaurant at Greenbelt. Beside the best food it offers also excellent house wine. Their menu is wide for all tastes. It even offers Swiss Raclette at good quality. All the menus I so far tried were very delicious and I always went home very satisfied. And do not forget to try their Merlot... More

Exemplary - the best of its kind. I am addicted with their mouthwatering guilty pleasure desserts that makes me go crazy. I can't wait to be back for more. Heaven is for real :)

This was our second time eating at this restaurant. the first was last June on Fathers Day when two families eat there and were pleasantly surprised. People have said 1771 is overpriced but you get what you pay for and I do not feel it was overpriced. The visit was slightly let down by not being offered the complimentary glass... More

twas v-day, expect full packed resto everywhere, malling with 3 inch shoes, Chateau 1771, i think was the only one with no waiting diners outside.... i think this French resto lived up to its name, that theres no fat French lady, haha all food serving were so small n cute... and since its vday, they only offered two main course,... Menu is limited and French-inspired (hence, the name). Interiors are classy and intimate. Lights aren't bright making this more of a date place than a group/hangout place. They source their meat/produce from organic farms lending it a healthier place to eat in. Lemon chicken is spot on and the mortadella wraps are tasty. Oh, servings are small which lends credence... A nice stop for fine European dining. A bit on the pricey side for what they offer, but the ambiance alone makes this restaurant worth a stop when you're with someone special. I had the vanilla brick chicken; my date had the steamed salmon; we split scallops for appetizer. The chicken was a touch on the dry side, but flavourful;... More

Chateau 1771's initial draw is its ambiance. The lighting is that perfect kind of gold to soothe your nerves after a long week and put you in the mood to socialize. It's also pretty lighting for photographs--and yes, no filter necessary. The food is excellent and the wine is very good. I ordered the beef tenderloin steak, and while it... More

This is easily one of Manila's better stand-alone restaurants. The menu has a fair selection of French and Italian pasta based dishes. The service is attentive as it should be in an upmarket fine dining restaurant such as this. The chateau has two outlets - Greenbelt and in Ortegas with the latter being a bit more cosy and perhaps a... More
