Acclaimed for its famous patented "No Borders Cuisine" - exquisite innovations on well-loved Swiss, Italian, and French creations, Chateau 1771 features an ambience that evokes the charisma and glamour of chic Parisian cafes and matches it with genuine Filipino warmth and hospitality. Menu favorites that have carried on through the years include Potence - beef tenderloin flambeed on metal gallows with a heady hint of brandy; Lemon Chicken - crisp morsels of chicken spiked with the sweet-tangy taste of honey and lemon; and Tomato-Cheese Fondue. Today, as it has been for almost twenty-five years, Chateau 1771 remains an important meeting place for discerning minds and refined palates.

Good choice for continental food

Nice restaurant in the Greenbelt 5 area in Makati. Good selection of pastas. Good option for business as well as family lunches or dinners. Has outdoor sitting option as well.

A 'French' restaurant in the heart of the Greenbelt shopping complex in Makati, it would be more accurate to describe the menu as Continental European. With that said, we had a wonderful time here when we went for dinner. We had the Tomato-Cheese Fondue as a shared starter (very cheesy, could have done with more bread) and for mains we... More

I invited high society friends for dinner and everything was perfect. 1) friendly staff 2) fast service 3) customized orders without pork 4) nice outdoor sitting area 5) very delicious food... and the steaks were PERFECT. It was the best meal I had in Makati.

I had the Chicken Rollatini which consists a boneless organic chicken leg stuffed with spinach, leeks, bacon and parmesan cheese; grilled asparagus; port wine sauce; organic brown and red rice. for me, it was so delicious that I ate it all feeling so satisfied with my dish. On our next visit to Chateau 1771, i am going to try other... More

After dinner we came here to have wine and raclette. Raclette was not fresh but their vahlrona chocolate mouse was fantastic!

I don't know why, but this restaurant just doesn't do it for me. It's just average and not in my top 5 Greenbelt places to eat.

The food is more expensive than average, at least 400 pesos per main course, and not extraordinarily great. For a fancy restaurant, it doesn't serve complimentary bread, only small slices of toasted bread. Italianni's would have been a much better option. Service was a bit slow, and it seems they are skimping on costs - unfortunate given the high prices... More

This chain of restaurants doesn't pretend to be fine dining, but it's convenient and comfortable. The Steaks are reasonable, so is the Osso Bucco. Portions can be large. Service was a tad slow, as it took almost 30 minutes for our table of 8 to be served. Touristy crowd. Prices are not cheap

Another old-faithful in Makati. Never disappoints! Great food/service. Classical dishes (think steak, salads, soups, classic entrees and pastas) and at very good prices. Not much in the way of wine but a pleasant dinner at reasonable prices (there are quite a few restaurants spitting distance away from this one which will charge you twice as much for half as good)....
