Fancy, expensive restaurant

The food is more expensive than average, at least 400 pesos per main course, and not extraordinarily great. For a fancy restaurant, it doesn't serve complimentary bread, only small slices of toasted bread. Italianni's would have been a much better option. Service was a bit slow, and it seems... read more

This chain of restaurants doesn't pretend to be fine dining, but it's convenient and comfortable. The Steaks are reasonable, so is the Osso Bucco. Portions can be large. Service was a tad slow, as it took almost 30 minutes for our table of 8 to be served. Touristy crowd. Prices are not cheap

Another old-faithful in Makati. Never disappoints! Great food/service. Classical dishes (think steak, salads, soups, classic entrees and pastas) and at very good prices. Not much in the way of wine but a pleasant dinner at reasonable prices (there are quite a few restaurants spitting distance away from this one which will charge you twice as much for half as good).... I had lunch here today, it was a Friday and the restaurant was relatively busy although the service was prompt and charming. This is a good location on a corner site inside Greenbelt, the interior is faux French style with high ceilings, large windows and plenty of room between the tables, all good. The background music was frightful, some ropey... More

Not quite fine dining, but very civilised and a step up from the many casual eateries around Greenbelt with white linen table cloths and napkins. Whilst our meeting was business, many other diners were in pairs and this is probably a good venue for couples. There is a reasonable range of food, I selected pasta, which was attractively served, tasty... More

Nice place to dine with a cozy ambiance. The restaurant can be a business dining,or even meeting long time friends, even with someone special. I like the pasta in here is a winner to my taste buds.Worth the price you pay.

I'm a strong advocate of getting what you paid for. I don't mind paying top dollar for an equivalent meal. Chateau just fell short of my expectations and the price that you pay for. Food is decent but nothing extraordinary.

I used a credit card here ... two days later, $360 worth of charges showed up on my credit card for downloads at the online Apple store ... it was the only use of the card in the Philippines so I am sure the culprit came from that restaurant ... the card was canceled two days later while I was... My son reserved an exclusive room in Chateau 1771 last Sept. 6. We were 13 in all. Trix was our exclusive server, she informed us that we can request for our own fruit shake combination and I ordered a mango-melon shake, tasted good, the sweetness was just right. For a starter, we had Goat cheese and Grilled Apple Salad. For... More

My wife and I have eaten here many times and have never been disappointed. We love the seafood soup! If you like steak, the ribeye is great! Their fish entree's are good as well as the pasta dishes. Sheesh, having a craving as I type. Very friendly staff and the Chef is happy to accommodate special requests (we love the... More
