Stick with the classics

I went back to the Lobby at the Penn because I missed the halo- halo shaved ice, ice cream and fruit. It was as good as I recall from 30 years ago. The live music was still there. Not many things in Manila have stayed as good. I did not like the inflated prices of other items in the menu,... read more

For first but old world charm, The Lobby always works. Tip: always specify your brand when ordering a cocktail. That way you get your money's worth. The family will always love the desserts as well.

We were fortunate to be able to get a table at the lobby for our early dinner. It is the 2nd week of December and it is peak season . We had our experience last year when the place was fully booked even it was a late evening. i know it is the meeting place of the elite , and... More

The whole place was festive with Christmas decor. Some of the waiters had Santa Claus caps and service was excellent as usual. My wife had fish and chips. She liked it but the portion was too big so I had to help her finish. The fresh juices were really fresh and my club sandwich was okey. Nice place to relax... More

Had a late lunch here and food came fast but poorly presented for the value and staff were chitchatting and not paying attention. Lobby looks overly decorated with fake palm tree. I could not help but compare it to what i experienced in peninsula hongkong. I was so proud to bring my foreign friend to this hotel but turns out... More

I was quite impressed at how well the hotel management were able to keep the restaurant vibe even if customers are basically dining in the lobby. Service is top notch. Food is good, familiar and nothing too ambitious. I've tried their pasta and like it. Our american friend tried the adobo and enjoyed it :) Though I prefer more intimate... More

The Lobby Club and Eggs Benedict are my favorites. Super delicious but its a bit expensive. The lobby ambiance is very good even if the hotel is a bit old. Highly recommended for business travellers.👍😊

Especially when band is playing. Open 24 h. Very convenient. Very accommodating. We had breakfast at midnight and it was no problem. The tapa was tough, the Ticino delicious and the bangus was too salty. 1 out of 3 when it came to breakfast. Had afternoon tea. Very good spread for buffet. Sandwiches were alright. The pastries were so so.... More

The Peninsula is walking distance from our house. My husband and I like to come here to listen to the music. Sometimes, we have a halo halo, a dessert made up of chilled preserved fruits. Here, the servings are particularly big so we split it between the 2 of us if we are a little full. We have had dinner... More

Whether for a business lunch (or dinner) or as a romantic meal for 2. Indeed just a drink this is the place. The surroundings are out of this world, the quality of food is 5 star quality, prices however are very reasonable - and the staff are so very attentive. The lobby somehow also manages a home from home feel... More
