The place is totally classy and the staff is really friendly but having to wait for 30+ minutes just for a giant bowl of ice cream is too much. So please do a better job next time 'cause I still intend to come back after that sugar high!

We stopped in for lunch. The atmosphere is great, the food so-so, overpriced, and the service extremely slow. It wasn't even busy! Would not go back!

The Lobby of the Pen is a place to be seen and to see at almost any time of the day or evening. It features a respectable menu for afternoon tea and is great for drinks at almost anytime. But be warned, the prices are world class, i.e. not cheap. But the atmosphere, especially with live music, makes the visit... More

I got off an international flight at dawn, arrived at 5:30 am for a 10 am presidential event. The bellhop were kind enough to store my luggage allowing me to "retrieve formal attire" for the event. (yes, I changed in the "ladies powder room", shall we say?) And I was able to order breakfast here, then promptly fell asleep at... More

I love Manila Peninsula, precisely because of its lobby. It's cozy, but at the same time, very elegant. I appreciate that they have added healthy meals into their menu. I think they collaborated with The Farm to come up with organic, vegetarian meals. One thing I really didn't like during my last visit was the bad service. I had to... More

Gorgeous lobby, went there for high tea. Food was yummy and tea excellent, the staff treated us wonderfully even though we stayed there for hours. We even stayed after high tea because they had a live orchestra playing classical music on the balcony, the orchestra played two songs that I requested which was so lovely! They had a manager in... The Pen Lobby as it is called is a marvellous place to unwind in the evenings, have a drink and enjoy some simple snacks while chatting away. A place to see and be seen, this lobby has many memories attached to it however, dining is really just average. Service is very pleasant and courteous but quality is so-so except perhaps... More

Let me start with the good points. First well it's at Manila Peninsula, which is very nice, and the second point is the live music. I loved the sound of the Saxophone playing, I could hear them well since our table was near the musicians. The rest, I could say that I was luke warm on the place and the... More

I went there with my gal pals to try their high tea. It was packed as expected on a weekend holiday. We forgot to reserve and had to go on wait list. Good that one of us went there early so 2nd in line isn't so bad. She got there by 3pm and it was all full. When we got... More

Amazing spot these days the Lobby in the Peninsula Manila. 24 hours a day a chilled place and interesting history, 2007 there was parking a tank in the lobby... Taff security control in the entrance, but gives me a save feeling as well. In the morning there is the executive breakfast arranged, afternoon tea is a must as well. Anyway,... More
