We had the opportunity twice to visit the Legazpi Sunday Market. As a retired chef the food was incredible, Thai, Pinoy, Indonesian, Hamburgers locally produced ginger beer, on and on no end to the specialites. Lovely textiles and great handmade bowls. The first time we went was immediately following the Typhoon and all the businesses were donating to the cause.... More

We had an open mind and were very pleasantly surprised by what we why. Besides a large number of food stalls, which were delicious, there were handicraft and artisan stalls of all kinds. From boutique coffee bean sales to Bamboo cotton sheets and towels (its like ultra soft cotton, but made from bamboo), to goats milk products, organic vegetables to... More

This Sunday Market welcomes all - carnivores, herbivores, fruitarians, organic foodies. You can shop for ingredients to take home or ready-cooked meals to eat in the market itself. You can hear Sunday Mass at 9am or listen to drumbeaters after. It may not be as big as the Saturday Market at Salcedo but I like that this Legazpi one has... More

The multitude of food genre starts from the ones that are province based food (which are rare in Manila) to the seafoods and to the meaty corner. =) Eat whatever you like in the tent. =)

Great place to hang out on a sunday. Lots of stalls selling anything under the sun and food galore. The Hungarian Sausage stand is great. Or the BbQ chicken so good. I like the arroz ala Cubana very tasty. You can also load up with fresh fruits and veggies .

This market has a combination of food and art and crafts. Like Salcedo Market, it feature products from various places in the Philippines. Expats and locals come to visit for fresh produce or just for food. You can even see expats preparing their food to sell. Things may be a little more expensive than what is sold in the province... Though not as extensive or popular as the Salcedo (Saturday) Market, the Legazpi Sunday Market is a nice alternative for a relaxing Sunday morning. Lots of home-cooked local, Asian, European, American, among others, dishes to choose from. It's likewise a place where residents of nearby condominiums in the village can purchase their weekly supply of fresh meats, fruits and vegetables.... More
