one of the few times that i was served an obscene amount of food. i ordered the omu rice which looked like a petite meal for an averaged sized filipino like me but to my delight the servings were fit for a king. they must have used 5-7 eggs for that omu rice omelette. most japanese restaurants iv'e been to... I was here with family and friends on Dec 15. The place was crowded as usual and parking space was hard to find. It was because they have goid foods, generous servings, and inexpensive for the portions. They might have lacked in service and atmosphere but the foods made up for it. If you're looking for good foods this is... More

Had dinner here for quite a few times and make sure you have a reservation to avoid being turned away. Some nice dishes I recall is their buttered clams, fresh sashimi, and maki rolls. It isa resto where a group can dine inexpensively.

I have often driven past this restaurant and wondered what it was like so I came here with the family late afternoon last Sunday after finding Ukokkei Ramen Roy was closed (they were open by the time we left!). First impressions were not encouraging - The ambiance is rather run down & tatty & not too clean looking. Very definitely... More

Had dinner here recently and it was not my first time. This is one of the frequently visited Restos by our bosses. The food is good, service is quick and the ambiance is ok. Sometimes it gets crowded though, so it is best to come early. Must try is their salmon, mixed sushi, fish tempura, California maki. They have a... More

can't say anymore.. if we need a fast late dinner where food is great, this is where we go. the service is quite prompt, the taste is great, the value of money is even greater. valet parking is no problem at all. too bad no pets allowed, that's the only flaw i can think of.

We had a farewell dinner here and was able to get their private room. The ambiance was not that as Japanese feel as I expected. But it was still okay. The food was good. Though I expected more. It was a bit pricey as compared to the authentic Japanese food in Little Tokyo. Their takoyaki was a crowd favorite but... More

This is my second trip to this authentic Japanese restaurant. This time with my very discerning family members. Verdict : Generous serving, delicious and not pricey. Downside : parking is awful, service is slow despite the fact we had late lunch around 2:30 pm. Seems they are understaffed. Conclusion : You crave for authentic Japanese dishes at reasonable price, this... More

I first visited the Don Bosco branch last May. My dad made a reservation for us for the celebration of my brother's birthday. When we got there, we were given a function room to dine at. The staff promptly asked us for our orders and were very helpful with describing to us the dishes listed since the menu didn't offer... More
