A Must for Filipino Food

I had an opportunity to eat here with some coworkers. Not being Filipino I was not looking forward to it. We ordered several dishes and ate family style all sharing. I had no idea what many of the dishes were but I really enjoyed every thing especially the pork blood dish which surprised me. Even... read more

I'm glad I picked kanin club when tasked to choose where we'll have lunch with our balik bayan relatives. Why wouldn't I? I have been here plenty of times and I always enjoy their food. I recommend the binukadkad na tilapia, crispy dinuguan, tinola, and their sinigang na sinangag. I also enjoyed their tinapa rice. The area is relaxing despite... More

The Kanin Club is always packed at lunchtime. However, our rather large party of 9 (1 americano + 8 native familya) were lucky and had to wait only for a few minutes till we got seated. So, the food must be terrific if a place is so busy? Let me tell you, it's just average. Especially the crispy pata (usually... More

My mother brought me to Kanin Club when I was craving for pizza. I was almost sure I'd hate it because let's be honest, pizza will win anytime. I was so wrong. Kanin Club is the bomb. Order their sinangang na sinigang

I have heard a lot about this restaurant so my friend and I decided to try it. We had the crispy pata and pinakbet. The crispy pata was nothing outstanding - on a scale of one to five, with five being the highest, I would rate theirs 2. They describe their crispy pata as: The skin is light and crunchy... More

We had lunch today in this restaurant, the place is very nice and comfortable enough (not for many people in fact but good for small groups or couples). I ordered the beef callo, which is an old spanish recipient but with a Filipino touch; very tasty and generous portion. Service is good, Filipino standard but I believe that could be... More

The proximity of the Ayala Park to my home away from home in Manila has taken me to this restaurant. It is a source of comfort when I am homesick for Filipino food. The young waitstaff are so friendly, cleanlooking and efficient. I have come so often here that the staff recognizes and are quick to acknowledge my preferences. This... More

The food here is unique and distinctive taste. Good recommendation for Filipino food. Their anchovies salad and fried fish were there menu which stands out. For more info and photos, kindly visit my blog: http://tummyfull.blogspot.com/2011/01/canin-restaurant-in-ayala-triangle-park.html
