I'm almost certain that this spot was named after the world's largest seafood market in the world - Tsukiji in Tokyo - known for the freshest sashimi in the world. Having said that, this place does not disappoint its namesake. I particular love the salmon, toro (tuna belly) and uni sashimi. A tad pricey (P500 or US$12 and above for... More

The quality of sashimi & wagyu beef here is hard to beat and I travel to Japan frequently. Of course you can find it in Japan but the cost would be 3x as much... If you are looking for quality... Highly recommended!

We tried this place last year. My mom and I agree though that the food here is pricey as compared to the food we eat in Japan but it is the closest you can get to good Japanese food here in the Philippines. It is very hard to find good Japanese restaurants here in Manila. If you're looking for a... More

Went there with my wife recently, wide variety of sushi and sashimi to select from. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and generous in size but overall it is not good value. I would rather visit Sugi or Kimpura which are very nearby for the same quality but almost half the price.

read so many reviews here and some claiming the best in the city. well that's not true. find yourself in the Shangri La you will find finer quality in sashimi and sushi. you will also find a crazy bill when your ready to leave. I like them both. Tsukiji has good quality and a good price. I can only give... More

After a recent visit to Japan, we were looking for someplace near home with quality Japanese food. This resto fit the bill, great food of very different types (we did not order any of the wagyu beef, but focused on grilled items, tempura, and vegetables), and very comfortable setting with some small rooms for groups. Green tea and red bean... More

It is a must try restaurant in Phillippines. It was my second visit to Manila, and this topped all my other restaurant experiences. The sashimi was to die for and the rolls were just dreamy. The tuna was excellent. The teriyaki we ordered was tad bit salty, but then again we were there for the fresh sashimi. The service wasn't... More

Best Japanese restaurant in Makati. Fresh sashimi. Ordered the premium sashimi and it's fantastic. Service and environment had room for improvement.

We went here mid week and it was very quiet. No atmosphere, music etc. Going by the reviews on here we were expecting the best Japanese food in Manila. The Miso, tuna sushi, edamame and chicken teriyaki skewers were great and we liked that they import their food directly from Japan. It wasnt the best Japanese we have had in... More
