The food was great. The restaurant has a cozy ambiance and the noise level inside the place is low. The staff is providing a top quality services, fast responses to your request and dinner was cooked to perfection. I like the true Japanese environment. I vote it the Best Japanese restaurant in town. Select any item from the menu, every... More

Tsukiji restaurant is definitely expensive compared to its counterparts in the metro. However, i recommend this restaurant for the following food (definitely must try) : OTORO - tuna belly, believed to be the "kobe beef of the sea", HOKKAIDO UNI-the sweetness of the uni is uncomparable! The rest of sushi and sashimi are similar to the other restaurants. Value for... More

We went for a late dinner with friends, the sushi was nicely done and tasty, crispy shrimps was perfect, the highlight was the black halibut, just fabulious. The service was okay but a bit slow. A great night out with friends and properly the best Japanese food in town, the restaurant opened 1989, which speaks alteady for it self.

If you are looking for a good Japanese cuisine in Makati this will be your perfect choice. Make no mistake I am thoroughly impressed with the quality of food they served. Ambience is so so but the food is perfect, can't get any better. I used to patronise one other Japanese restaurant nearby but this is definitely a much beget... More

We went here for late lunch. They are about to close when we arrive here but they still serve us well and patiently waited for our orders. I just tried their ramen and unagi maki and both taste great!

I'm almost certain that this spot was named after the world's largest seafood market in the world - Tsukiji in Tokyo - known for the freshest sashimi in the world. Having said that, this place does not disappoint its namesake. I particular love the salmon, toro (tuna belly) and uni sashimi. A tad pricey (P500 or US$12 and above for... More

The quality of sashimi & wagyu beef here is hard to beat and I travel to Japan frequently. Of course you can find it in Japan but the cost would be 3x as much... If you are looking for quality... Highly recommended!

We tried this place last year. My mom and I agree though that the food here is pricey as compared to the food we eat in Japan but it is the closest you can get to good Japanese food here in the Philippines. It is very hard to find good Japanese restaurants here in Manila. If you're looking for a... More

Went there with my wife recently, wide variety of sushi and sashimi to select from. The sushi and sashimi were fresh and generous in size but overall it is not good value. I would rather visit Sugi or Kimpura which are very nearby for the same quality but almost half the price.
