We got the ff: Gyu kushi Spicy tuna maki Gindara teriyaki Salmon sashimi Niki udon Everything was perfect. I'm tempted to give it 4 stars because of the 2 cockroaches we spotted and the very lousy service but the food were too prefect. Been dining here for years and I hope the quality never changes. Maybe, just maybe- they can... More

The best Japanese restaurant in terms of food quality. Some dishes may not be available all the time so advance reservation (for your dish) is recommended. The place looks tired and worn but service is pleasant.

Authentic Japanese restaurant. Fresh sushi / sashimi. Definitely value for money. Best time to go is lunchtime but you need to reserve or get there early (like 11 or 1130 am) to beat the lunchtime crowd.

My friend swears by this place, and I know why. This unassuming, low-key place smack in the heart of Makati's Little Tokyo has the freshest sushi at reasonable prices. Always packed at lunch, Tuesday is the best day to come because they receive their shipment from Tokyo's fish market. I love the spicy tuna salad and the sea urchin. The... More

Kikufuji is actually an izakaya or drinking pub. They serve excellent Japanese grilled specialties and sashimi, among other staples. However if you're looking for ramen, better go to Shinjuku next door. We actually go here for their excellent value Chirashi and Sashimi sets. Their Chirashi includes the usual maguro, shake and uni but they include hefty amounts of uni, hamachi,... More

being a katsu lover, im always in the hunt for the best tasting yet budget friendly set meal. the best bang for the buck that i've tried so far was in a japanese restaurant in kvillage sukhumvit bangkok. i was hoping i can find the same here in manila. however the katsu craze left me disappointed, for the mall restaurants... A bit dodgy looking on the outside, you'll forget about all that as you bite into their grilled food which this place is known for. We tried their grilled peppers, wagyu steak, grilled chicken tendons all with just salt and pepper. Really enjoyed the freshness, the simplicity and the burst of real flavour from real food. Rice was cooked to... More

Tonight was my first time to come in and from the outside it looks like a rundown restaurant and somehow the inside looks it has seen better days. Our servers, Vicky and sometimes Riza made up for the lackluster look of the restaurant with their service and smiles while serving us. My friend ordered the wagyu steak cubes (4 cubes... More

A surprising place, it doesn't look much from the outside but it a fascinating labryinth inside and buzzing at 8pm on a Saturday. Good luck getting a reservation as they simply do not answer the listed number (we sent someone to book it in person in the end). We had a fun room for 10 at the back of the... More

Looking at the menu for ramen. Didnt find it. Only good food here is tonkatsu. The rest are just like Tokyo Tokyo. I am sooooo disappointed with the tempura. Teriyaki Boy is even better than this. Waitresses are so lame. Sushi makers are not even Japanese! I would still prefer Nodasho over this one.
