This was our first visit to Elderberry Pond - the hostess who greeted us was friendly and made us feel "at home" right away. The menu, although limited, has enough options to appeal to most people. I had the shrimp & scallop scampi which was one of the best I've had (and I order it often!). My husband had the... More

While visiting the area we decided on this place due to the small menu available to us at the time. While the service and food were excellent, we were not expecting it to be more on the formal side. We felt a little under-dressed. We all got the seafood scampi and the scallops were so tender they practically melted in... More

This is a nice restaurant for special occasions. The setting is in the countryside with a nice atmosphere inside. The staff is very cordial, attentive, and professional. There is a nice attention to detail including fresh cut wild flowers on the tables. The food is excellent. If the green beans were any fresher you would have had to pick them... More

We have made this our place to go on our anniversary. Lovely country setting along with great food. Sit back, have a glass of wine and enjoy this fine dining. With the food being local, it is fresh. Great place.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary last week and enjoyed a wonderful lunch. The food was excellent from the garden fresh soups all the way to the excellent chocolate dessert. The staff took great care of us and we are looking forward to a return trip this fall to enjoy the fall foliage.

Last in the area two years ago and made this a priority in our return. Very well presented food, wonder wait staff, attentive hostess, adult atmosphere. Pricy but worth it for a fine dining experience. Able to look over lovely fields while eating. Quiet enough to hear table mates speaking but far enough away from others to not have eavesdroppers.... We enjoyed our experience at Elderberry Pond restaurant, especially the atmosphere. The service was friendly and the food was fresh and delicious. The coconut cream pie for dessert was phenomenal.

touristing in Skineateles, found this restaurant as we headed to the Syracuse airport; the menu varies and is simple, but the food was delicious. countryside is interesting. The owners have refurbished the interior of this old building. Staff of local residents who were friendly with great suggestions.

When driving from Rochester to Auburn, the only things one generally sees are farms, farm animals, country roads and - an organic oasis? Believe it or not, Elderberry Pond in bucolic Auburn has some of the best organic food anywhere in upstate New York. The dining facility is not a barn but rather a building that looks almost stately with... More

A group of seven of us had lunch at this restaurant midweek recently and enjoyed it thoroughly. We called about 20 minutes before we arrived, and they had a table ready for us. The buffet was varied and quite delicious. The items were refreshed often. The service was excellent. My only complaint was they included the gratuity on the bill... More
