Large quantity, heavy sauces

We stopped here on a Friday night without reservations, at 6pm there was an hour wait already so we grabbed the last two chairs at the bar and ordered our dinner there. My friend and I both got a veal and shrimp dish, there was enough on each plate for two meals! The sauce was very tasty but high... read more

If you have every been told not to order beef in an Italian restaurant, those people have not been to Lascas on the weekend when they offer their prime rib. You'll find it hard to get any that surpasses theirs in flavor or tenderness. Order the king size and you probably will have a lunch sandwich tomorrow.

We were looking for a decent restaurant on our way back from the Waterloo Outlet Mall to Syracuse. Lasca's was amazing! Delicious and very generous proportions. Warm loaf of bread with a special dipping sauce...yum! Excellent service. We would highly recommend Lasca's! Enjoyed leftover veal piccata and pasta tonight for dinner!

We dined as a couple, at this well-known local restaurant. Our server was helpful. Informed us of specials. The grilled salmon was delicious, also served with a creamy lobster risotto and grilled asparagus. For the main course, my date had the scallops, and said they were the best he ever had. We also opted for the strawberry shortcake dessert. My... More

Lasca's is like my mom and grandmother's cooking..prepared with care, served with kindness and every bite is enjoyed. We celebrated a birthday with cousins from Florida and they indicated they would return on the next trip to Auburn. The wait staff is friendly and informative. Will go out of there way to make sure you don't get the onions if... More

Although we had a reservation, our wait time was almost 30 minutes. We are a middle aged couple and seated next to a family with a few young children who needed to be at home asleep rather than at a restaurant in the evening. Our server was adequate and the food was just average although the portions were huge. We... More

My son was getting married in Auburn June 12th and we needed a place to hold his rehearsal dinner. People told me the only place to go in Auburn was Lasca's. Boy were they ever right. We started with appetizers and a free bar and everything was excellent. Next came an antipasta and then dinner, again everything was excellent and very hot.The... More

We were very disappointed with this restaurant. We had Balsamic dressing on the side and it was all oil. What a mess. I ordered the chicken riggies and they were the worst. Thin chicken breasts were on top of rigatoni that was in a puddle of sauce that looked disgusting. There were suppose to be hot spicy an they were... More

My husband and I went to Lasca's for our anniversary and it was a wonderful dinner. The service was excellent and the wait staff was always smiling and attentive throughout the meal. We were giving crusty Italian bread with a delicious dipping sauce. The dinners were serve hot and they were wonderful. The portions were so large we didn't have... More

In my experience, frequently when a restaurant gives you so much food that you bring a lot of it home for another meal, it comes at the expense of quality. At Lasca's, you get enormous portions and the quality is very good to excellent. My wife had the chicken parm, and the plate served to her had two layers of... More
