I've been to Casa Rap several times, as it is just a few minutes away from where I live, and so far I have not tasted anything that would make me not come back again.True, the pansit canton is exactly what you get from lucky me's, but I think, what they did was rather ingenous (The serving is ample for... The food's just fine. Service is too slow. I think theyre using the slow cooking method like what most people do at home. But there's always room for improvement. I'll give casarap a 3.

Sorry, but Casa Rap is extremely overrated. There is NOTHING special about the so called "home cooked" meals at the restaurant. So, my Garden Salad was a visual feast (thanks to the purple flowers) but the okoy was COLD and CHEWY and the dressing too sour. The pansit canton was made of noodles similar to those that come in foil... More

This place is a bit like a Tardis. From the road it doesn't really stand out - just looks like a normal house with a small gate at the side with a sign. However once you walk down the path you're in another world. You walk a long way through the gardens on the way in past all the organic... More

At the entrance, you will be greeted by a signage saying that they have a "slow cook theme" and you should expect to be served quite a while. We were able to eat after 40 minutes. We ordered the rice toppings because we were really hungry and figured maybe it would be quicker. Beef Kaldereta and pork adobo was cooked... More

The lush garden setting is very relaxing and sets the mood for the fresh salad (plucked from the grounds nearby, we hear), the plump crispy shrimps, the fat gindara swimming in flavorful broth, and the crunchy beef ribs. Dessert was thick native chocolate and tamales (sticky rice cake). All that for just over P1000 (less than $25), for two people... More

Eating in this restaurant was a great start for our Batangas family outing. I called ahead for our orders since we were a group of 15. When we got there, it was a Monday and we were the first guests, we still waited for around 40minutes for the food to be served. It was not a big deal really since... More

The restaurant sits right beside the main Provincial National Road. Each visit offers us a different recipe to try. Food is unique from appetizers, to salad (excellent salad), to dessert. The local charm ambiance differentiates it from any restaurant. And the recipes uses freshly picked items from their own gardens. Healthy Home cooked meals!

Enough of Fastfood. This is what cooking is all about. Home-cooked meals with ingredients picked from it's own garden.
