Waited for about an hour, the flies roaming everywhere especially in the kitchen, the food is average, the halo halo is just sweet, can't match razon. The ambience is not that good. All in all there's nothing especial on that place.

We are regulars of this place and what we have learned by heart is that you should not come here if you are really really hungry. You can't complain because it is written in front of the menu that theirs is 'slow-food'. We love the place and the homey atmosphere and the food is good, so we just make sure... More

You have been forewarned. Before entering the main dining area, there is another sign that explains that your food will be prepared in a slow process (slow food as opposed to fast food). The menu bears the same notice. True enough, you have to wait between 45mins to 1 hour for your food to be served but it can be... More

I've been to Casa Rap several times, as it is just a few minutes away from where I live, and so far I have not tasted anything that would make me not come back again.True, the pansit canton is exactly what you get from lucky me's, but I think, what they did was rather ingenous (The serving is ample for... The food's just fine. Service is too slow. I think theyre using the slow cooking method like what most people do at home. But there's always room for improvement. I'll give casarap a 3.

Sorry, but Casa Rap is extremely overrated. There is NOTHING special about the so called "home cooked" meals at the restaurant. So, my Garden Salad was a visual feast (thanks to the purple flowers) but the okoy was COLD and CHEWY and the dressing too sour. The pansit canton was made of noodles similar to those that come in foil... More

This place is a bit like a Tardis. From the road it doesn't really stand out - just looks like a normal house with a small gate at the side with a sign. However once you walk down the path you're in another world. You walk a long way through the gardens on the way in past all the organic... More

At the entrance, you will be greeted by a signage saying that they have a "slow cook theme" and you should expect to be served quite a while. We were able to eat after 40 minutes. We ordered the rice toppings because we were really hungry and figured maybe it would be quicker. Beef Kaldereta and pork adobo was cooked... More

The lush garden setting is very relaxing and sets the mood for the fresh salad (plucked from the grounds nearby, we hear), the plump crispy shrimps, the fat gindara swimming in flavorful broth, and the crunchy beef ribs. Dessert was thick native chocolate and tamales (sticky rice cake). All that for just over P1000 (less than $25), for two people... More
