Trying something new.

I love the place and its set up. It's my first time trying out their santol juice and it was amazing! It was quite refreshing. I was even intrigued with kaldereta sandwich that i ordered anyway thus it never failed to amaze me. My neice that I visited with ordered pandan juice and hotdog sandwich... read more

This restaurant has a very rustic, homey feel. When I entered it, I felt as if I was entering my grandmother's old house, making me feel right at home. My friends ordered crispy pata, cooked to perfection and their famous halo-halo is to die for - the perfect dessert.

The place was referred to us by a residence of Lipa. It was easy to find along the highway though their signage is difficult to see especially if you're driving fast. We only ordered their halo-halo and their okoy salad. Though it was tasty, it's not actually extraordinary. They offered Lambanog to pour into our halo-halo. Milk and lambanog? Oh... More

The river below, the view from the meditation area, the forest atmosphere keeps feeds your senses while waiting for the "slow food" being prepared. The most important is to go around and enjoy the art works of Sis Emma, one of the owners of Casa Rap. Her eye for recycling and turning it to conversation pieces is something. I once... More

Waited for about an hour, the flies roaming everywhere especially in the kitchen, the food is average, the halo halo is just sweet, can't match razon. The ambience is not that good. All in all there's nothing especial on that place.

We are regulars of this place and what we have learned by heart is that you should not come here if you are really really hungry. You can't complain because it is written in front of the menu that theirs is 'slow-food'. We love the place and the homey atmosphere and the food is good, so we just make sure... More

You have been forewarned. Before entering the main dining area, there is another sign that explains that your food will be prepared in a slow process (slow food as opposed to fast food). The menu bears the same notice. True enough, you have to wait between 45mins to 1 hour for your food to be served but it can be... More

I've been to Casa Rap several times, as it is just a few minutes away from where I live, and so far I have not tasted anything that would make me not come back again.True, the pansit canton is exactly what you get from lucky me's, but I think, what they did was rather ingenous (The serving is ample for... The food's just fine. Service is too slow. I think theyre using the slow cooking method like what most people do at home. But there's always room for improvement. I'll give casarap a 3.

Sorry, but Casa Rap is extremely overrated. There is NOTHING special about the so called "home cooked" meals at the restaurant. So, my Garden Salad was a visual feast (thanks to the purple flowers) but the okoy was COLD and CHEWY and the dressing too sour. The pansit canton was made of noodles similar to those that come in foil... More
