Korean Food Craving Not So Satisfied

The first Korean food that I would be eating at a Korean restaurant is the kimchi, of course! Their kimchi is good but it lacks the 'sting and zing' that I am looking for. Not 'hot' for me. We ordered grilled pork belly but we were 'forced' to get two orders --- that's the rule -- minimum of two... read more

I was quite disappointed that their samgyeopsal (grilled pork strips) has to be served in at least 2 servings which is quite pricey at P250.00/per serving and considering that there is just 2 of us. We ended up ordering pork bulgogi which was quite good and tukbokki (rice cake). Their tukbokki was also a disappointment since it lacks flavor and... More

We had dinner here last February so it was chilly. If the cold brothers you get a table inside. But if you like korean, cool weather and cooking at the same time, then this is the place for you. The spicy food and the burner will warm you up. Pricing is just right. Plus its in SM Baguio so its... More

Had a great lunch time at Wood Nymph. We tried their samgyeopsal and that noodle in black bean paste (forgot the exact name :p) served with kimchi. The price is reasonable and the taste didn't disappoint me. Its my first time here and will surely come back to try their other dishes. They only accept cash payment as if the... More

This restaurant serves the best Korean food in town. Prices are quite reasonable. I usually come here with friends and families for dinner. For a meal of 8-10 people, you only need to spend less than 2000 pesos. This of course still depends on what you order. They offer samgyupsal, kimchigae, seafood soups, kimbaps, japchae, etc... What i like most... More

For someone who have tried different Korean cuisines, this one is quite average. Although I should say that their bulgogi is one of the bests I have had. Definitely worth coming back for.

I like of course the food... they serve generously and it tastes really good..The place both at SM and Military Cut Off are very good as well and the price is quite reasonable. So if you are craving for something Korean, you should go straight to Wood Nymph.

My friends and I dined here sometime in Jan2011. Forgot what we ate but remembered it was nice, but on the pricey side. Since I tried their kimchi chige mid-2012 I always come back to order it as take out when am in Baguio. I don't eat spicy food but I will eat this. The soup serving is ok but... More

Went for lunch with the wife and we both liked it very much. The traditional appetizers were about as good as you'll find in the Philippines (6 dishes). We also had a side of kimbap which had wasabi paste in the dipping sauce - very good! Good value for the money, lunch for two under p500.

Fahad, my classmate in Med, wanted to eat Korean, so we dined at Wood Nymph at SM Baguio. They serve authentic Korean dishes with a smile. We ordered Beef Stripe Stew, Kalbichim, and kimbab. They serve side dishes. Side dishes - kimchi, radish, baby potatoes and mung sprouts were served first. These items are fantastic! Jo and I commented we... More
