Ambiance and quality menu

Reserved a table for the evening because we were unsure how busy it would be. Service was well paced but like many of the restaurants in Baguio it won't be serving after 10pm I expect. Excellent salad, fish dishes and expresso coffee. Even went as far as ordering a bottle of wine. The first bottle... read more

It was a good place to hangout or catch up with a friend. The coffee's good. I will definitely go back to try their other menu. The place is really something you should visit when in Baguio.

We went here with friends and first thing i noticed is the ambiance. it was so relaxing and looking by some of the other customers they seem like they are quite happy with the place. they look like they are enjoying their food. I ordered the bagnet, its not so bad i like it but not really that special but... More

I have been in this restaurant for more than 5 times. This is one of those things listed as a "must visit" in Baguio that I always end up going there with different people. Food quality - quite ok for the price (about 250-500 with drinks per person). Well known for their Pinikpikan (cordillera ritual Chicken soup served with purple... More

Though its quiet expensive, but they offer big serving. So, you can share/divide the food with your group.

We tried their new branch at Upper Session Road. Food did not disappoint, as expected. I especially liked their kamote bread, kesong puti, bagnet and kinunot. I was a bit disappointed though with the ambiance as I didn't notice the "ruins" in their new branch. What I liked at this new branch: 1) it's more spacious, can easily accommodate large... More

i dislike the place because of the lack of parking space for a lot of customers whom I guess would like to try the over-rated big serving of omelets that calls for a high price. Nothing to be amazed about this place.

I have been going to this Cafe since the 80's when the restaurant was built around the ruins of a pre war building. Like then and now their food has been superb. They have a fantastic array of high quality bakery products. Their dishes are likewise just as good. The food is Filipino. It is not the usual stuff neither... More

This is the second branch of Cafe by the Ruins. This branch has no ruins but bigger and newer. Located at the Upper Session Road right beside Mario's, it's more spacious so they can accommodate more people here. We had our breakfast here as we always do whenever we visit Baguio. Yes the price is expensive and the food is... More

I've been hearing so much about this place so I decided to give it a try. When I saw the menu, I was wondering what I got myself into. The prices were expensive! The average for one breakfast item was 300Php and the serving wasn't big too! Plus if you ordered their baked goods, they won't allow you to eat... More
