Modern food in a cosy environment

The restaurant is lovely and nicely decorated creating a very special athmosphere. The service was friendly and efficient. I was surprised with the menu as it offers "sophisticated" or more "modern" pinoy food. I had duck confit which was yummy and crunchy, and my gf had some meat that was also... read more

My husband introduced me to this place. He made me taste awesome foods I have never tried in Baguio.

Drove up to Baguio for a morning meeting and decided against having breakfast on the road. Turned out to be a good decision. We arrived at 8am and were hungry. We ordered coffee that was decent. They sourced their beans in a town called Bauko,Mt.Province. we had camote flour bread that was great with the cheese and liver pate. Great... More

Though I haven't tried the 1st Cafe by the Ruins yet, my boyfriend and I enjoyed our Saturday afternoon at the Cafe by the Ruins Dua. We ordered drinks only since we're still full - Ruins Tea, Ruins Coffee, and Ruins Espresso and they taste okay. The loation and the ambience is what makes the experience great - warm and... More

Order their breads its delicious pairing with coffee in cold weather. But for other meals for me its just ordinary. Parking is hard but at least they have someone to assist you. Restroom nit very clean for me. I always look for a clean restroom in a resto. Service is good attentive. My table has big ants which maybe because... More

The place is cool but not that good if it's raining. You just have to wait for available seats. The food is awesome but just a bit pricey. Sagada rice is great, my husband likes it. But I love the salad served to me that made me like "kesong puti" once more.

It was a day when the rain didn't stop as the habagat never gave us the chance to see the Su n. Its the perfect time though, to grab some coffee and merienda while feeling the cool breeze and the song of the rain. Had to wait quite a while for the seats because at 3pm it was still packed.... More

Like the name implies, it is a café by the ruins of an old building. The place itself has a warm cozy feeling. Adding the cold weather of Baguio and a good cup of coffee and you get a good way to start the mornings. There food is so-so serving everyday Filipino staples but you are mostly here for the... The place is good and the staffs are courteous. I only go to Baguio once a year so it was disappointing that their croissant and their cinnamon roll werent available the only time in the year I visited. I opted for sagada rice which came with a fruit bowl and hot tea. I understand that it's a vegetarian dish but... More
