Built on the ruins of a building, this restaurant offers Filipino and European dishes as well as a variety of coffees and teas.

The old time favorites still beckon at this unassuming place run by a family of art enthusiasts and their artist friends. The prices have gone up but the quality remains. The beauty about the place is that the older and more run down it gets, the more welcoming it transforms. Shabby chic comes to mind. Try their gado gado, local... More

They have freshly baked bread here and offer quality, good tasting foods. Tea is also specular served in a rustic tea kettle. Must visit except that it is usually crowded...

For first time visitors to Baguio, with young children, this cafe was not the ideal spot for an afternoon snack. Yes, it is walking distance from Burnham Park unless you are tired or with very young children. There is a waiting list for tables, which was not so bad. The venue is a little cramped for my liking and you... More

Aside from the "Ruins" part of its name, it was the menu which got us interested. The items are not in their usual names because of the "twist" or personal touches that the restaurant put in each. And the food was good. We were with relatives from abroad, and we all had a fine and fun dinner.

Last April, when we were in Baguio, we grabbed the opportunity to walk whenever and where ever possible. The cool breeze made it enjoyable to stroll around. After hearing mass, we decided to walk along Session Road to enjoy the sight. After a long walk, a restful break was needed. Good thing Cafe by the Ruins was just a few... More

Worth to visit this small restaurant. It is very near burnham park. The foods are worth trying. The ambiance is very nice too. I might say that the food is expensive compared to other restaurants around.

The name compels one to think that it must be one of a kind and must be a definite place to check on. We had the opportunity to visit it twice on a 2-year span and found that nothing has changed in their menu.

When I entered in this restaurant it reminded me Kalui right away. The atmosphere is the same but of course the menu is different. It's really expensive. I ordered the Bangus, it's ok but that's it nothing interesting about it just bangus with rice. though, their ice tea with lemongrass is really appealing!
