A trip to Baguio wouldn't be complete without eating here. Everything on their menu is a treat for the palate! From their bread to their strawberry shake to their curry! Best of all, their ingredients are all organic and healthy! Just be sure to get there a little earlier than the lunch/dinner rush or you may find yourself without a... More

The ambiance was great although I expected it to be more ruined. ;) The coffee was cool. I like it! The ruins iced tea was average. The bread average. I like the herbed cheese for the spread but didn't like the kesong puti with basil. Oh, by the way, expect them to light up a katol when it's nearing night... More

We googled the place and it is located beside the Eurotel. Try the kamote bread, very soft and chewy paired with butter as a starter. We ordered the baguio bounty salad, shrimp mango curry, pinikpikan (tinola version with young coconut meat), sagada rice (red rice with vegetables topped with egg), bagnet (Ilocos version of liempo, but they served it not... I love the place... it's near major intersections in downtown Baguio but I wonder how they were able to keep the atmosphere calm and relaxing... I love their set up, service, toilets, and most of all the food. It's quite expensive for me but it's worth it... when in Baguio, don't miss this lovely restaurant.

we had our first breakfast at Cafe by the ruins. We were lucky to have a place as soon as we got there. The place is so antique, they even have paintings on their walls. The ambiance is so romantic. As for the food, the serving is large. And the food tasted great! We ordered bacon and eggs, and ruins... More

I'm not sure why this restaurant doesn't have a higher ranking on TripAdvisor but I suppose it might have something to do with its location and prices. had breakfast on my last day in baguio here and we enjoyed the breakfast sets they had which came with a complimentary drink of coffee tea or juice. for me though the real... Great ambiance for a relaxing evening with friends. Ernie's kamote bread and their specialty coffe should not be missed.

Art, ambiance, music, good food. It was a great dinner: we liked the duck confit and the pandan lemongrass iced tea best. We almost hoarded the remaining camote bread to take home. The food was simple but as far as we're concerned, perfectly cooked when we visited. It's like eating your mom's specialties in your own home.

My ever reliable pick me up food in the cafe. Like a sexy lady anything she wears becomes her. Tasty even without. They always have good food. Not pretentious gourmet or fusion. Good simple food of excellent ingredients. No more no less. Ambiance included in bill :-)

I suggested this for our late lunch after the family's long ride from Sagada. I didn't expect the food to be way below our expectations. Aside from being a bit pricey, the taste was so-so. The ambience and service could make up for what the cafe lacks in the "it" of their food offerings.
