Amazing Turkey Sandwiches (Pan con Pavo) and Mixed Fruit juice (Jugo Surtido)! This "Sanducheria" (sandwich place) is just full of tradition and I am happy it is expanding as Chain through out Peru.

Trujillo suffers from a lack of tourist friendly restaurants near the center. For tourists looking for a light lunch (or dinner), there isn't much. Keep in mind there's no seating so plan on finding a bench back at the main square. Butifarra was the best and the mixed juice.

We are in Trujillo to visit my wife's family, she is Peruvian. It must be the 5th time I am in Trujillo, but only yesterday my wife told me we should try the sandwiches of San Augustine. Why didn't tell me before?? I a a turkey sandwich and it was delicious. My daughter had a slush puppie, and it was... More

This is my first (possible only) TripAdvisor review, and I have to say this place is just delicious. It's a tiny food stall to eat in front of (or take with you and enjoy in the beautiful Plaza de Armas a block away). Simple menu of meat sandwiches and fresh juices, it's hard to order the wrong thing. The guy... More

Literally ate here 10 minutes ago and can still taste that juicy chicken sandwich in my mouth. True definition of cheap and cheerful. Skip the empanadas and don't question yourself by going for two chicken sangas.

I'm from Australia and have been in Trujillo for 3 days. The first day we saw people queuing on the street to get into this place. Finally got a chance to go back tonight. OMG that's why they were queuing up. The food is amazing. I don't speak Spanish. Trying to learn while I'm here with my girlfriend who speaks... More

We went to San Agustín following TripAdvisor's suggestion. I had a San Agustín, the house specialty with a hamburger, coleslaw, tomato, cheese, ham, bacon and egg. On top of this I asked for all the sauces (Peru is famous for its sauces). The sandwich was indeed amazing, a mouthwatering mountain of food but with a soft balance given by the... More

Despite fact that there is almost no seating, this place is always packed - always a queue - its worth eating these meat filled rolls standing on the pavement - mouthwatering! 100% not a place for veggies!

If you go to Trujillo you really have to try the saduches of Juguería San Agustin, you will not regreat it.. the place is very small but you will see people making lines all day long just to have one of these sandwiches..
