One Entree Delicious, One entree barely average

At the end of a long day, we looked for a restaurant for dinner. The "marketers" for local restaurants are aggressive, to say the least, but this restaurant's menu looked extensive and the atmosphere was appealing. We didn't have to wait for service. I had a "chicha morada" to drink and my... read more

I wish I had read these reviews before choosing to go here for dinner. It looks lovely from the outside and the waitress have us a lovely table by the fire. We ordered promptly, it took 20 minutes for bread to come (some tables got olives too, we didn't). After 45 minutes our mains came. My vegetable kebabs were just... More

Tonight, 18 May 2015, my wife and I, plus another couple tried to eat here. We sat for 10 minutes before the menu arrived, and 10 minutes later we got our four lemonade drinks. When we finally ordered we were told it would be 35 minutes delay; not a problem. I had ordered soup as a starter and waited and... More

My wife is Peruvian, and is also the owner of a Peruvian restaurant in the United States. So we are very familiar with Peruvian food, and know how it should be prepared. We came in hoping to try some good novo andino cuisine, and were extremely disappointed. The causa limena was the worst we've had either in the US or... More

As I had a stopover of about three hours around midday in Puno due to a change of bus, I was looking forward to having coffee in the Casa del Corregidor and then lunch in Mojsa- both places I had visited and enjoyed on an overnight stop in Puno a few days before. However, I had not bargained for it... More

Our meal and experience here was by far the worst that we had in Peru. After walking down the street checking out different places we settled on this one since it looked really nice, had an appealing menu, and was fairy cheap. We sat down and waited at least ten minutes to be acknowledged by anyone. We ordered quickly but... More

Of the 3 restaurants that we tried in Puno, this was the least interesting. Service was friendly though. The food was average but the portions were very large. The menu is pretty much the same s most other places on the pedestrian street. In any case you can check the menu outside of the front door. There are better options.

located on the main street with a bunch of restaurants with hosts out front trying to lure you in, but was able to negotiate free pisco sour and desert for s/22. looked a lot more inviting and more people. soup was pretty nice, mains average and small however with desert and drinks we left totally full. service was excellent.

We did not select from TripAdvisor but from their menu displayed on the street and by looking in the window the decor seemed to have ambiance. Things started well as we ordered Pisco Sours and they were excellent. We made the mistake of telling them that we would have our drinks first as when we ordered 2 different types of Peruvian... The restaurant from the outside looks pretty great, but don't judge at first sight! The waiters were nice but not at all professional. The food was dry and not tasty at all! And they didn't accept credit card! To avoid!
