A good place for first-timers in Puno or Peru itself. The place is a restaurant-cum-show place (however, there's no extra fee for watching the show). Our guide took us here or we would not have found it. The speciality is Rotisserie chicken which was excellent. Each night there is a floor show for about an hour of traditional Peruvian music and dancing for which there is no charge, just a tip for the dancers. If you want to avoid this sit at the back of... Our tour guide recommended this restaurant for the chicken, and the show was a complete surprise! Most of our group got the rotisserie chicken, which they said was very good. I got aji de gallina, which was delicious. My friend's trout skewers were a little fishy tasting, but the veggies and sweet potatoes were very good. The service was okay.... More

along jr libertad, this restaurant offers a too loud and folkloristic show that doesnt let you enjoy the dinner! Food is nothing special and moreover it's too pricey for what it offers. not worth at all

This is a restaurant with live traditional Peruvian entertainment. We sat near the stage where the performers were going non-stop for about an hour. I found the meal quite inexpensive. The food was just OK. The alpaca was good but the rosti it came with was very bad; it was made with yucca and was wayyyyy too dry. The kingfish... More

Followed the tips to walk past the tourist-filled front room with a 'cultural' show in full swing. The back room is a cosy, no frills space with TV's blaring and a busy kitchen churning out the best chicken and chips in South America. Friendly waiters (I think they enjoy the idea of gringos skipping the show), tons of locals and... More

Service was very slow, even for peru standard. When food arrived for the first person, they told that two meals were not available and they have to choose something different. My guniea pig was really bad. tastet like old fat. they show was okay, but service and food was really bad and i am not that picky.

We came here because of all the Tripadvisor reviews. We got a great and fantastically cheap pollo a la brasa meal for 11 soles. We took everyone's advice and sat in the back part of the restaurant. The food was cheap and filling. We even splurged and got quinoa ice cream (which cost almost as much as our pollo a... More

We spent two day in Puno and to be honest we never eat twice at the same place but this time we made an exception. We enjoyed so much the food, the presentation of the plates were fantastic, everything was delicious. The show was nice too (specially the costumes) the service is good too. Honestly it's best value in Puno... More

Great place to get rotisserie chicken. When you get here, bypass the "tourist tables" just inside the door and proceed to the cash register in the back. Order food and drinks (I suggest a quarter chicken), pay and get a ticket, sit down at one of the simple tables with the locals in the back, give the ticket to the... More
