We came here for lunch on our own and then for dinner with our tour group. They didn't have pizza oven on for lunch so we had pasta and lamb dish. Food was average. They have good atmosphere and excellent wifi. Pisco sour wasn't as strong. Non alcoholic mint lemonade had a good kick in it. Pineapple juice was the... More

Family snack break at the Tulipan's courtyard was very pleasant. It was early and not many restaurants were open, we were happy to find this place. Lattes and cappuccinos were quite good, the ice cream shakes were a bit strange (my kids were not raving about them). There is free wifi and the younger staff persons speak some English, everyone... Nice location, a bit removed from the street by a pleasant little courtyard. We were a group of nine and the only ones in the restaurant. The upstairs area was plainly decorated and quite dark (maybe they are going for a romantic atmosphere?). Food was decent but not great and average value, service was friendly and relatively quick.

We stopped in here for lunch and were treated to great sandwiches and wonderful coffee. The restaurant is off the main street and has a lovely courtyard that was a relaxing oasis from the busyness outside. The sandwiches are on locally made bread, full of delicious ingredients and at 12 solas a great bargain. There was a bit of confusion... More

I went here with 3 friends for an early dinner after spending the last couple of days on the islands. I ordered the lasagne and a side of potatoes with cream and cheese and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal! However my friend ordered the alpaca steaks which were very chewy. Avoid the alpaca!!! Other than this was a lovely setting... More

We really enjoyed our meal at this little restaurant. The service was fantastic and the pizzas made right in front of you before being cooked in the woodburning pizza oven in the corner. The food was fresh and tasty, and it was certainly the best meal we ate in Puno.

We ate here twice in our three days in Puno. Most of the restaurants are all on the one tourist strip. The first night we came, we left because there wasn't a table downstairs and upstairs hadn't really been set up for the night. We made reservations for the next night and had a nice table by candlelight. Ordered two... More

The tulipan is a cozy place, both when sitting indoors and out in the yard. Sweet and helpful service and delicious food. Whether you choose pizza or more exciting food. The tulipan has become our frequent restaurant when our groups are in Puno.
