This place is sublime. We had lunch there today and everything was spot on - I recommend the stuffed pepper entree and the chocolate dessert. The bottle of Argentinian cab sav was amazing, and also the service was excellent. Staff speak Spanish and English. 7 soles (5min) taxi from town.

We had our best meal in Peru here. Yes, it exceeded the Peruvian fusion restaurants in Lima. We had the potato cream soup which was rich and smooth, just perfect. The snapper ceviche was not too acidic and just the right degree of spiciness. The trout dish with clumped rice and grape chutney was tasty, as was the vegetable risotto.... More

We had a fabulous dinner at this hotel restaurant (in spite of the obnoxious table of Americans next to us, playing rock, paper, scissors and balancing spoons on their noses). We ordered pisco sours and they made them tableside. It was the first time we had experienced this and were thrilled with the experience. The server explained the ingredients and... More

The restaurant is set in Casa Andina Private Collection hotel overlooking Lake Titicaca and has a captive market as it is a couple of km out of town so prices were high and food mediocre! I chose trout tortellini and received 6 pieces of tough pasta, a few shreds or trout and tomato sauce---45 soles. My husband chose the fish... More

There are not a lot of fancy restaurant in Puno. If you want a good meal, its a great option. The restaurant is located in a hotel, near the lake. When you eat, you have the view on a small part of the lake. Service was slow. We went for lunch, it was good, same menu as for dinner. Its... More

Considering the other poor options in Puno, this restaurant is your best chance. Me and my boyfrient had dinner at Alma Viva on a thursday and the restaurant was quite full. The service was nice but we could notice that the older american people were receiving more attencion of the staff, maybe for the higher tips. The food is not... More

Enjoyed a wonderful Saturday night dinner. We made reservations and the restaurant filled. Our waiter Daniel was a SUPER host and the food was among the best I've had anywhere. In fact, so good we returned Monday night and found it difficult to believe we were at the same table in the same restaurant, which was nearly empty. To start,... More

We actually didn't stay at the Casa Andina Private Collection Puno, Av. Sesquicentenario 1970-1972, Sector Huaje, Puno, tel (51-51)363992, e-mail: informes@casa-andina.com, web: http://www.casa-andina.com/. (Exchange rate S/.2.84 = US$1) We just ate dinner there twice and we had two good meals. It’s a little out of town but the taxi ride is only S/.8, at most. The room is lovely, with... More
