Food was good when you consider the price tag. We had the set menu for 20 Soles, corn soup, green salad both good. Grilled trout very good but sides very basic, 1/2 pizza as you would expect - half a pizza. Desserts small but good. Very busy so staff seemed to be rushed off their feet, we had to ask... More

Nice warm atmosphere, cosy place. Very fast service, uncharacteristic for Peru. Reasonable ouse red wine. Prices ok. Food quality average, nothing to write home about, but good enough for a regular tourist. Good location in the main drag between the Plaza de Armas and the Plaza Pino.

Ended up dining twice in a week! The tables around the stove/fire were just what the doctor ordered on a cold June week while we demolished hot soups, spag bol/grilled trout and lemon pie. We indulged in their complimentary Pisco Sours both times and they were delicious. If there's no room around the fire, the upstairs "cavern" is very atmospheric... More

Not far from our hotel on the next corner, we were offered a coupon for a free Pisco Sour with our meal, so we decided to try this restaurant. The all have a Menu of the Day and ii is very economical in Puno. It was a three course meal and very good. Everything was really good until my wife... More

Complimentary Pisco Sour (the best we've tasted so far) Lovely homemade soup (perfect as it was freezing outside) Grilled trout and orange cake all for 18 soles. The best value meal by far. Good service and nice ambience. Definitely one to recommend.

We stopped by here for dessert. Their apple pie (sometimes written "manzana pye") had a wonderful flavor and a layer of egg flan on top. Very good and interesting! But stay away from the tables near the walls. The decorative reeds smell unpleasant.

We had dinner here very recently. We ordered an avocado "salad", which was comprised of a sliced avocado, for the hefty price of 12 soles. We also ordered the special pizza, which we had to send back because it was barely cooked through. Sure you can find a better place.

Nice place, friendly waiters, great music (old school rock) and a good tourist menu for only 18 soles.

Having a well cooked and tasty 3 course lunch for 18 soles is exceptional value. The chicken soup and grilled chicken were great and finished it off with a nice chocolate cake. We found the service to be good when we visited but there was only one other group at the time.

The menu of the day for 18 soles is pretty good, the food is reasonable for that price. The service is extremely slow, we had to repeatedly order drinks, which arrived eventually, and at one point all the waiters were ignoring us. There's lots of choice in Puno, I would try elsewhere if I were you.
