We wanted to eat something delicious, typical of Chiclayo and high-end, but not necessarily touristy. The restaurant was lovingly decorated in a way my grandparents would have loved, lace curtains, tablecloths and fabric napkins. I showed up on a Monday evening and there was only one other table in the restaurant the entire time I was there. My arroz con pato showed up a little too quickly after I ordered, suspect especially because I heard the dings of a microwave a minute or two beforehand. Flavor of the rice was great but both duck...
