Local Flare with a great beachfront spot.

We kind of stumbled on this place during our trip only to find that it is a favorite among international travelers. Great beach bar. We went at a quiet time, but could tell that it got busy on the weekends. Nice canopy covered seating and a beautiful bar. Just a nice chilled out spot.

We have been travelling around the Caribbean and now Central America for the last two and half years and could not believe the charges for a table and umbrella as part of the bar. In the Dominican Republic if you are eating and/or drinking at the bar you get a free beach lounge and umbrella. The only place that charges... More

Had a good time at the Beach and the restaurant. Fantastic fried fish and a nice cocktail. And once drunk dip into the sea. Food prices are pretty decent but the beach umbrella was pretty expensive for $20.

We've been traveling in Central America for 3 weeks now, and this is the first time we have been served overcooked fish. Also overpriced.

We went here looking for a day at the beach. When you come into town there are folks from the resort trying to lure you there. Just tell them you re going to Pipas. Good drinks, lounge chairs and umbrellas. We ate lunch too. Mostly fresh fish. I had the whole fried fish and it was WONDERFUL. It is a... More

Great place to stop and get some fresh seafood and a beer while you soak up the sun and watch the waves wash onto the beach

There are little locations which have it all. Pipa's has it, safe parking for your car, bath facilities, restaurant, bar and The best part: un front of the Farallon beach. Nice people around that assist you in whatever you need. Nice Ranchos and beach umbrellas for rent of you need them. Justo a fee for facilities and safe parking.

We decided to head to the beach today for some crashing waves and beachside cocktails and food. After being turned away from Playa Blanca although we read the resort grants day passes, we headed to Fatallon which was the public beach. After circling the barrio we stumpled upon Pipas Resturante which we were originally looking for but did not find... More
