From the Royal Decameron my partner and I thought we could see Canadian flags waving further down the beach. After a short walk we stumbled into Woody's. Since it was the low season the owner and her daughter were the only two people in the bar. They were incredibly friendly and kept the cold beers flowing. The décor was awesome... More

Comfortable place to chill out and have a few cervezas while looking out over the Pacific. Food menu varied and reasonably priced. Staff very friendly and attentive. Popular spot with Canadians vacationing in area as well as local families for a day at the beach. Hockey shirts hanging all over the walls and ceiling. Live music on occasion makes this... More

We stayed at the Playa Blanca resort which is on the other side of the river from Woody's and a considerable walk down the beach after that. Be sure to cross the river at low tide and return before high tide or you will need to take a taxi back to your resort. We went on a Monday, not realizing... More

The food is very well priced, free WIFI, cheap beer. It looks sketchy from the beach but its very welcoming once your there.

4 of us stopped in while on vacation, a very short walk from the Royal Decameron. Was quiet on the afternoon we visited, ordered some poutine, wings and onion rings. All were quite good, except that the poutine was not very warm. Took quite a while to get our food after it was ordered and even beverages were slow to... More

Woody's had a good band playing when we were there on a Saturday nite and Sunday afternoon - cannot rate the food as we only drank there. Beware of the bartender, he likes to charge you whatever he wants - every round seemed to be a different price - when someone in our group finally confronted him he ended up... More

Loved the Canadian deco and beers. Plus the wings and poutine was awesome. It was on the beach a few hotels down from out resort so it was a nice walk and it was right on the beach. Felt like a little piece of Canada in Panama.

Woody's was a great place to stop by for something different. It gave us a little slice of home while we were on vacation and we couldn't be more thankful for it. Monique was awesome and a great person to deal with. The biggest thing we learned about Woody's was that they do personal guided tours out of there as... More

Cute beach restaurant , lots of atmosphere and good cold beer. A bit pricey overall lunch for 4 is about $80. We had the Sea bass deep fired with veggie stir fry and it was very good.
