Worth Trying

My partner & I recently had dinner here. It was surprisingly good - not expected to have Lebanese food in David. We had 3 glasses of wine, 2 appetizers and 2 dinners - just under $50 without tip. They've got pretty good food, really small portions on all the items we got. The ceviche and most of the stuff was just fine but the grilled chicken was really good (tiny portions though!) If we didn't have to spend $50 to have mini salads and appetizers it would be a better rating. When I say mini, I mean the... More

Three of us shared 4 "appetizers" and tabouleh and found a couple really good and the rest only ok. On a Thursday night we nearly had the place to ourselves for the better part of 2 hours, which did surprise us, since a local had recommended the place and we expected it to be crowded. Music was too loud for... More

I love middle eastern food and so was excited to learn of this place. The ambience is a nice change for Panama. The house special soup was a good vegetable soup with a couple pieces of beef, I think. The salad was fine but the dressing had little flavor. The chicken shawarma sandwich was disappointing, though. They must have warmed... More

The air conditioned makes the room like a refrigerator while you wait too long for a less than average overpriced meal.

As food goes in Panama it was not bad. And it was better than what I have eaten at other places here in David. Not your Typical Panamanian food.

It's hard to find a cute-looking restaurant in David, and it's not exactly a foodie destination. Rincon Libanes is a fantastic option for creative food and a decently cute atmosphere. We ordered a plate of a variety of things and they were solidly good. Highly recommended for David!

Simple food, well prepared and when you live in Central America, it's just great to take a break from the cantina. David is not especially well provided in restaurants and if you are going to go out for one meal, then this is my top pick!

Just had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. Had the tabbouleh and one of the combo mezzanine plates. Everything was fresh and delicious. The baba ganoosh was outstanding. I would recommend this restaurant!
