Machu Picchu was once one of my top 2 or 3 restaurants in Boquete. Not so much any more. I think the management has changed and the last time we were there, I'm pretty sure we got a microwaved dinner and the seafood was not fresh. We stopped going there altogether since then (2014).

I found the ceviche good even if it is a bit onion heavy! There is a large menu so there is something for everyone if you go but within our group it seemed the seafood excelled. A little bit more expensive than other places in the area.

Very tasty food but over my budget. Decor is fine however the location is soso. I had chicken with vegetables and mashed potatoes and it was delicious...tender pieces in a cream sauce.

Local friends took us, and ordered the seafood platter with a wide selection of marine delicacies. The tiny octopi were yummy, to my surprise. The meal was very nicely prepared and presented. Recommended.

I had my one upscale meal here with a couple I met from Pittsburgh. Lots of quality seafood enjoyed by all, with good service.

I have to admit that the main reason for seeking this place out was the promise of pisco sours after a long day on several chicken buses. The drinks did not disappoint, nor the ceviche or beef heart skewers - both amazing dishes. Not so keen on the seafood main courses - a bit bland for our tastes - I'd... More

Odered papas rellenas as entrada ...no rellenas (i.e. stuffing)...essentialy cold boiled potatoe Ordered filet mignon....overly salty. Ordered grilled corvino with salsa, got pan fried corvino with shrimp.(I'm a native/fluent spanish speaker), also... More

Went for dinner - it was okay - not my favorite restaurant in Boquete by far. Service was also mediocre and kind of a zero for atmosphere.

We visited the Machu Picchu in Panama City and loved the food ... so when we visited Boquete with family and friends, we visited Machu Picchu once again. The food was fantastic ... and for 8 adults, the bill only came to $160 and we all had wine and entrees. I highly recommend this restaurant.

this place has been here for a while, and seems to do good, it's one of the restaurants that you like or don't like. , the menu is large with all kinds of choices, my problem is if you order shrimp or fish, it all tastes the same, the same sauce and the same looks. good people and service but...
