Chillin' in Salalah

Oasis is strategically located close to Salalah Port. It is a 10-minute from the city. The ambiance is good and the staff are nice. They have a 3-lane bowling alley where you can play with your friends before or after dinner. They also have snooker and billiard table, kids can enjoy a game of... read more

Very good food for reasonable prices. This is the only place I can recommend 100% for everyone ( if you're ok that they sell alcohol and pork)

Another lovely if slightly quirky haunt - and we have been eating here during visits to Salalah over the last four years. The food is always really good (famously its steaks) and drinks are reasonably priced. Sudheer, the restaurant manager, is a great character - and unfailingly smiling and helpful. A great place to chill.

If you arrive in Salalah on a cruise ship and feel dismayed at the taxi drivers at the port gate who try to rip you off by charging excessively for their services you need look no further than walking about 800 metres up the road to the Oasis Club for a very welcoming break. There is a sign advertising them... More

Awesome food, especially the steaks and very reasonably priced. It has a great atmosphere with two pool tables and a snooker table. They have four full size ten pin bowling lanes too. Managed to end up there at some point every day of our stay in Salalah! There is a nice pool there too where we spent our last day... More

Just had 27 days at sea so decided to head to the oasis bar to out pin. Obviously things got a bit loud despite the beer costing so much. Unfortunately a few people who may have been american decided to holiday to salalah and thought they would have a romantic night at the oasis. We made sure this didn't happen.... More

Here on holiday for 4 days and decided to take on a tour for the day. Tour guide suggested oasis at the end of tour for dinner. While the food was wonderful and not terribly expensive - like the hilton we are staying at- the British Navy guest where there very loud and seemingly drunken. I appreciated the waiter very... The Oasis Club is probably the best Western restaurant in Salalah. The restaurant is set as a pub but has also a beer garden. It serves steaks, curries and pub food. It has an amazing array of tap beers (Paulaner = German, Peroni = Italian, Carlsberg = Danish, Stella Artois = Belgian, Foster = Australian, etc. etc.) In addition there... More

Friendly greeting on arrival. Staff happy and friendly and provide good service. Fantastic for family dining, playground outside with swimming pool and view of beach. Licensed restaurant which is hard to find in Salalah unless you visit large hotels. Large menu, children's menu too! A treat to find pork on the menu as well boerewors!

My husband wanted to visit here because this club used to be the 'British Club' years ago and he was curious to see it now. It is situated in the most unlikely area, and if you are planning to go in the dark we strongly suggest that you find it in daylight first. Sign outside says members only, but we... More
