I have been going here for years. The food is consistently good quality and delicious. You must try the green beans (served cold with shaved parmesan, croutons and truffle oil). All of the panini are yummy. The servers are all friendly and have great recommendations if you don't know which panino to choose.

Il Bambino has great panini, of course; it's who they are/what they do. My personal favourite is the artichoke panini (romesco, olive spread, and goat cheese). I order it all the time and never get tired of it. Their hot chocolate is phenomenal: "regular" flavour, nutella, and peanutbutter are your choices, and you can't go wrong. Enjoy!

panini's galore, interesting combinations, but not challenging. my husband loves this place, even the salads!! the mimosa salad with hard boiled egg is perfect. the crostini's work best for me, can get a little variety and feel very satisfied and not stuffed. great wine selection. friendly service. just a really easy, comfortable, delicious place to eat. a go to place... We stopped in before heading to Laguardia, and are glad that this was our last taste of New York for a while! We ordered the Sweet sausage panini. It had orange marmalade, hot peppers, Rosemary aioli and fontina. Oh my gosh was it good! And one sandwich was plenty for the two of us, especially because we also shared the... More

We have been here before and the food is as good as earlier. We would not like to miss this restaurant when visiting NY. There is one issue though that they should address wich was irritating, they charged for a chilli sauce when Tabasco was requested. We do not like that but they took it away from the cheque when... I was surprised how good the paninis were. I thought, how good can a panini really be? well, they can be fan-freaking-tastic! The outside seating was really nice and relaxing. I thought everything we ordered was unique in flavor and very tasty. We ordered: Meatloaf Panini Roast Chicken with Spicy Mayo Chickpea Salad Can't wait to go back!

Our second visit with a family group, and the combination of food and service is excellent. Specializing in panini with a wide variety of pork meats, this deli turned restaurant is small but well worth the visit. Good wine and beer list. Access by subway or cab is preferred, as street parking is tight. Highly recommended.

This place is great. All types of curd meats and cheeses. I like to order the daily special panini and let them surprise me. I've never been disappointed(we pick up dinner there every sunday for the last year)

This has easily become one of my favorite restaurants in Astoria and I thought, why doesn't it have more reviews on Trip Advisor for NYC tourists? Just be mindful to give yourself some wait time, especially on the weekends. On Friday night and the weekends, this place gets extremely busy. The first time we went, we had to wait 45... More

I was skeptical when they opened (and before all the great reviews of the joint started coming out), but I have been a die-hard advocate for this place since my first bite of their Italian meatloaf panini, shortly after they opened. This place is the real deal -- inspired combinations of fillings on perfect panini bread. Add to that excellent... More
