This review is long overdue... For those of you travelling to NYC, Mundo may be off the beaten path, but it is unequivocally worth the trip to Queens. Situated in Queens at the Paper Factory Hotel, it offers a great atmosphere, but most important than anything else some of the most delicious full of bold and rich flavor dishes I... More

I was a fan of Mundo at the original location in Astoria, and I was glad to find out the restaurant had reopened. My favorite dish is the signature Red Sonja appetizer. Some items on the menu at the new location are different from the selection at the former location, and others such as the Ottoman dumplings, were on the... More

This restaurant is as good as any in Manhattan. I have never had their type of tapas before, but everything was amazing. The drinks were good too!

We LOVED the food at Mundo. This tiny, but excellent restaurant was know for it's Red Sonja and terrific Turkish food. It is now closed unfortunately. We hope that it will open somewhere else, but it's gone.

Dined at Mundo again last night. Loved it so much the last time, we had to come back. Again the Red Sonja is fabulous and worth the drive ( we live on Long Island ) We tried a couple of new things this time- a wonderful salad with beets and an interesting cheese dish. The fact that the place is... More

Not that everything isn't great, but you only need to know two words on this menu: Red Sonja.

You will completely miss this place if you don't put on your goggles. This little gem is hidden on a side street off Broadway in Astoria. Mundo is a tiny little restaurant with a deliciously unique menu. I highly recommend going with a bunch of friends and ordering as much as you can so you can try it all. The... More

My husband, daughter and I ate dinner tonight at Mundo. We are long-time fans of this place, but every time we go back there we are reminded of how wonderful it is. We live on Long Island,so it is not exactly around the corner for us but the drive is well worth the food. Willie, the owner it such an... More
