I always drove by this restaurant but never tried it until I was invited to a bday party. The food was amazing. Several appetizers were passed around the table... Eggplant rollatini, calamari, stuffed mushrooms.. All excellent. I had shrimp scampi for my entree which was great. The shrimp were large and tender, very fresh. The service was excellent and atmosphere... More

I always drove past Manducati's on my way home and finally decided to try it. The decor, menu and food were all very old school and cozy and have probably not been updated in ages- which makes it very charming. The food was very good. The selections were basic Italian. The staff was very friendly. We've since been back and... More

My colleague who lives in Westchester recommended this place. I ordered the scungilli with marinara sauce and it tasted fine. My brother-in-law ordered the veal marsala and one can taste too much wine on the top. My sister-in-law had the veal parmigiana and the meat was very tough and tasted as if the meat was kept for a long time.... More

My wife and I have accidentally found this place, from the outside it looks like a dingy established but as soon as you enter you know this is going to be great. We have eaten here twice and both times have been very good, highly recommend the carbonara.

Manducatis is an old school family run mostly southern Italian restaurant in Long Island City. A quick hop over the Edward Koch Queensboro bridge and you can enjoy classical Italian cooking (Grandma Ida is in the kitchen) that is exactly how it should be. The food and service is excellent and there is lots of atmosphere as well. We are... More

We've been coming here for quite some time. This is a family owned and run restaurant that we love. Mamma is in the kitchen and she really knows how to cook. It's all good.

I went on a Sat night with my wife, son and daughter in law. We were seated at the reservation time and we were instantly attended to by the owners son, who by the way is charming and very knowledgable on food and wine. He helped select a wine in our price range that was excellent. Their wine list is... More

You would think twice before entering this place. Small entrance, not particularly attractive, small bar. BUT it leads into three large dining rooms and everytime I have been there two out of three are packed. The place won't win prizes for decor, nothing special nice and what you expect from Old World Italina, but the food!!!!! GREAT. Ida is the... More

Wow, there are a lot of shiny reviews on here but mine will not be one. Guess we came on an "off night". My party of four came in for dinner on a Saturday evening. We were ignored a good 10 minutes while we stood around waiting for someone to seat us. Then we were ignored for another 25 minutes... More

Owner opened up early for party of 30+ folks. Salad, pasta and main courses were well prepared, delicious and tasted amazingly fresh for a large party. Waitstaff was very attentive. Decor was simple and unassuming. Owner was a delight. Signage outside is minimal and the place was hard to find, but it's worth the effort.
