Everything here was good. Went with a friend and we got the black eyed pea appetizer. Delicious with nice big shrimp on top. My friend got the duck and it was very tasty. The rice with veggies mixed in looked so good. It was a pretty plate with the sauce and everything I enjoyed the picanha. It was cooked just... More

This is the best Brazilian restaurant we've been to in NYC. No matter what you order, everything is to die for! needless to say we've been to this place countless times. The service can be a little slow specially when they are very busy though. If you want to go for the Feijoada, it's a good idea to make a... More

Regular menu on Mother's Day. Small neighborhood restaurant. Very quaint. Food was excellent. From the beef stew to the shrimp and rice to the creme brûlée. Well worth the trip.

The food was great. Service is spectacular. We arrive at 1030pm and we didnt know they close at 11pm. They never told us anything about the time and even after 1230am they offer us a dessert. Over all this is a very good restaurant with the best caipirinhas in town. Thank you for the good experience

Feel like I just had lunch in Rio. My husband is Brazilian and he 100 per cent approves. A must visit in Queens. I just wish they had pao de queijo. This would have made it perfect.

My Portuguese-speaking friend lives in the area and introduced me to this restaurant. I had the prosciutto chicken, which comes with a side of mashed potatoes. It was absolutely delicious in a home-made kind of way. I also had a passion fruit caipirinha and "Brazillian tiramisu" for dessert. The dessert was on the smaller side, but creative and yummy. The... More

The place it was small but very charming and cozy.. The floor, chair and tables it was very clean.. The food it is great but I think the portion was a little small (feijoada) for the price. The drinks was excellent (caipirinha and passion fruit batida), the pudim and manjar was delicious. The staff were nice, attentive and never rush... More

Another year, another great trip to New York and another two forks up for Malagueta. On an unusually cool evening in NY in July (read 75 degrees F) I enjoyed the salad with perfectly grilled shrimp, followed by the beef stew, with rice and black beans. Beef was nearly spoon-tender and accompanied by a variety of veggies - carrots, zucchini,... More
