Why would anyone rave about this place? Tiny and all the way out at Astoria. We both asked for "medium hot" and it came milder than mild. Bland really. The white wine was not cold. They had only 1 condiment, commercial chutney. You can buy better at your supermarket's prepared meal section.

Seva! wow I love their chicken tikka masala, Navratine Korma and the lamb chops! Samossa'a! it was a feast. I never knew there would be an Indian gem in Astoria Queens. My boyfriend is Indian and it is one of the top places to have Indian food. Highly recommend it. The staf are great. very kind and attentive.

I came here once, mostly order take out. This is a small place with authentic fill. Their chicken tikka masala is great, also tried butternut squash soup and mango lassi. All were outstanding. They have very decent pre-fix lunch/dinner. Simply great food at great price.

Wow, this place is amazing. I have had the vegetable semosas and tikka masala. Also tried coconut naan for the first time - sweet of naan with spicy is amazing. The service is great and overall amazing experience every time.

Seva is definitely both mine and my fiance's favorite Indian Restaurant in Astoria. Too bad they won't deliver to us all the way over on the park-we would eat from them WAY more often if they did. Their prices are on par with other Indian restaurants in the area. The food is always flavorful with just the right amount of... More

The Lamb Spring Rolls were worth the price of admission...the shrimp curry sealed the deal completely, combined with the attentive, but not intrusive service. Nice bottle of Shiraz was, for NYC, an inexpensive addition. The chilled water, served in stainless steel cups, was not only unobjectionable in terms of presentation but refreshing. Highly recommended.

There was a time when my mom did not want to cook at all. So we had Indian at least twice a week. My top favorite dishes are the Chana Saag, the Chicken Tikka, Chana Masala. I always try to get the lunch special as that is the best deal! I also really love their garlic naan. I've been inside... More

We order some starters as Samosa and some crab cake that were OK but nothing special. Then as we who are used to it, ordered four main courses and shared. The tastes were good but all the same. The Chili Chicken that was supposed to be the most spicy, Chili had only been placed on top! The Nan was OK.... More

I was there a few weeks ago (April 2013) for an early dinner. The service was friendly and efficient, the menu was extensive, and the food was excellent. I would love to go back some day for the buffet lunch when it is offered.

This is seriously among the best Indian food I've ever had. Service is incredible--you have one person going to each table constantly filling water glasses; another person just taking appetizer orders; another person taking drink orders, another person bringing meals out. It is a well-oiled machine, and everyone has a smile on their face, happy to serve you. It is... More
